I'm now a extrovert who has worked in many countries as an IT Consultant earning a very good living. I'm also a standup comedian and world traveler ( been around the world twice, I love travelling and meeting new people ) I can make friends with strangers very quickly. I'm always learning and developing where ever I go. I'm also an author published 1 book on amazon. I've done the Millionaire Mind Intensive and the Tony Robbins UPW/DWD. I either let my students choose what topics to focus on or I give them a programme to follow. Maria - London£29
Trusted teacher: For all levels, for both children and adults, and diploma preparation. All aspects of the language would be targeted during the lessons, emphasizing those desired by the student (ex: conversational, grammar) Depending on the level and the method of study will be adapted to each student, with outside-of-class follow up. The classes will be conducted in either English, French, or both, once again depending on the needs and the level of the student. Classes focused on the reinforcement of the language can also be organised, focused on specific topics that the student is interested in, which will allow the student not to lose the language and to develop further their knowledge of lexicon in the specific area. In what concerns diploma preparation, the lessons will focus on the particularities of the tests (timing, response format, lexicon, etc).

Joana - London£52
Trusted teacher: I'm an experienced teacher, with students of different levels/ages. I enjoy the diversity of students and understanding of their different ways of learning and goals and for me, this is the best part of the job - to know an treat each student as a unique person that they are. You'll be encouraged to make music from the very first day. Together with some necessary music theory, always applied to the instrument, you'll learn pieces of gradual difficulty. We make use of progressive tuition methods and you'll learn a solid technique by playing scales, bowing and fingering exercises and easy tunes to begin with. Repertoire includes etudes, playful and challenging concert pieces and from the very beginning duos to play with the teacher.

Trusted teacher: Hello Everyone, I was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia and moved to the UK in 2018. I have been teaching English for more than 10 years. In 2008 I got a degree in teaching and since then I've helped various students to pass their state exams and generally get better at speaking English. I've worked in Petersburg cadet corps and in a language school the English express where I taught both teenagers and adults of different levels starting from the beginner to upper-intermediate. At my classes I love coaching my students through talking to them about interesting topics and setting challenging tasks and ambitious goals for them. I really enjoy setting stretching targets for my students and helping them achieve their goals whether it is working abroad, moving to an English or Russian-speaking country or exams. The most important thing for me as a teacher is to see my students speak. When we do speaking exercises, I usually write my students’ mistakes down in order to discuss them later. This way of correcting mistakes makes my students more relaxed because they are not interrupted while they are speaking. Over the years I have developed and fine tuned my own 9 point plan to make our classes more effective. The 9 point plan includes: • Speaking the language you learn every lesson • Listening to engaging audio materials • Learning how practical grammar works and how locals use it • Expanding vocabulary every lesson • Learning correct sentence building • Reading fluently and confidently • Learning how to communicate the way that locals do • Learning to pronounce like the locals • Building confidence in all the above using discussions and role-plays

Trusted teacher: I like that my pupils enjoy their French lesson. I use at the beginning of the lesson a routine. Example for children the greetings, date, weather of the day, numbers and important verbs. Then we work on a special topic using Power Point presentation or tutorials on Ipad for learning the French vocabulary. We do some practice with exercise (paper and games on ipad). For the teenagers the lesson is more academics. I insist on the grammar which is really important and the tense of the verbs. I usually work on the topics studied at school unless the student has a special request. I provide with some support as revision cards for tense of the verbs, topics. For the IGCSE preparation I also include some listening, reading and comprehension and oral questions on the subject studied.

Trusted teacher: Are you serious about learning to play violin? Do you want to learn how to tackle difficult violin pieces? Do you want to learn how to practise efficiently? Do you want to know how to tackle stage nerves and how to plan your time before a performance? Do you need help with fingerings and bowings for a specific piece? Online violin lessons are becoming more and more popular as they offer real convenience for a student who either wants to learn with a specific teacher who might be based in another country, or when attending lessons in person is problematic because of the student's schedule. Dunja , who has 15 years of overall teaching experience, has successfully taught via Skype and Zoom for the past 7 years. Lessons are scheduled based on the most suitable time (whatever the time zone!) for both Dunja and the student.
