About Me
I believe teaching is sharing, guiding, and inspiring. Learning is an individual journey of self-discovery, development, and fulfilment. My role is not simply to assist you along the way but to take it beside you, and to keep your hopes alive that you can reach the desired end. I find crucial maintaining one's confidence and self-believe along this process while boosting one's independence in making forward steps.

Patience is another core quality I am equipped with. I am aware that fruits take time to reap and I take systematic, yet engaging steps towards achieving personal milestones. I believe music is deeply rooted in all of us people and it only takes someone to ignite the spark and show you how to keep the passion burning.

Audio recording
if done in right manner and with right mic-ing techniques will not depend merely on post production for it's enhancement. This consists of closed mic-ing and open mic-ing, where to use different aspects and how to apply them. For example using small diaphragm microphones for snare and larger ones for vocals.

Piano
It is the best tuned instrument that there is in the whole library. So, learning piano not only helps you to just play piano better but you can also do better in vocals, guitar, flute and other instruments. It's a go for anyone who is fond of music and wants to learn a instrument.

Music composition
This module aims to develop the students’ compositional ability using a combination of key musical understanding and the practical use of music creation software. Students will have the opportunity to investigate technical and stylistic conventions across a range of contemporary western popular music genres and to study key elements such as chord progressions, structure, harmony and melody, to develop their confidence and own abilities in composition.

These sessions will explore musical composition techniques used in popular and contemporary music. The focus will be on deconstructing different works, exploring what their musical elements are and investigating what commonality these have across the boundaries of genre or instrumentation. Students will have experience of composing original musical elements and arranging these elements into complete compositions.

This class is specific to children as it fosters a love of music and music creation via easy-to-learn and play tunes, notation reading and developing ear skills. We will learn the fundamentals of playing the guitar, focusing on developing good techniques across both the left and right hand enabling faster growth and easier self-directed study. We will learn a selection of short tunes/melodies, chords and some sight reading. Grades are an option for those interested but my main aim is to bring the joy of guitar to the lessons! Below are a number of recent testimonials from my young students:

"Ricardo has been teaching my son electric guitar for just over a year. Ricardo has not only taught my son how to play but has been an inspiring figure who has given my son a lot of confidence in himself too. The lessons are tailored to suit the child brilliantly and Ricardo has selected songs that my son wants to learn therefore keeping him very engaged and making learning the guitar so much fun! Ricardo is very encouraging and has an enthusiastic and passionate approach for music & teaching. I would highly recommend Ricardo as a great guitar teacher to anyone looking to start playing." Bryony, mother of Stan.

"He’s a very nice and funny teacher and he helps me when I struggle. He makes the lessons fun and will always help you learn a song that you want to be able to play. I always look forward to seeing him." Luisa, aged 12.
