We will be covering basic SPAG and writing techniques that you need for creative writing, and also how to analyse a comprehension for details. Hello, I specialise in tutoring for the 11+,13+ and SATs. I passed all exams and now I am in a top-achieving grammar school. I can help tell you what to look for and what not to. My goal is to keep students challenged but not overwhelmed, I believe that my lessons are fun but challenging. On the first week, we will be starting with Non-Verbal Reasoning and in the second lesson, we will do a recap. We will be doing that series for at least 5 weeks, and we will do a recap exam of all the Non-Verbal learnt to see how much you have learnt. We will do the same for Maths, English and Verbal Reasoning.

The English Literature and English Language GCSES are tougher than ever, I know this as i sat my GCSEs in the summer of 2018. Having achieved 8’s in both English Literature and English Language (equivalent to the old A*) i am now studying both the subjects at A level, along with Religious Studies (which i got a 9/A** in at GCSE). I have an aptitude for English; a passion for writing, an avid reader and a wide interest in linguistics. Having sat the exams only last year, i know all the tricks in the books to passing the exam. I am a University of Cambridge researcher with the Master's of Architecture & Urban Design program. This class will prepare a student for their required English examination, (11plus, GCSE or Alevel) I have tutored successfully for 4 years with all students passing or improving their respective tests or exam scores, a most notable achievement being a particular students creative writing reward at their school in Bexley. For a creative Writing session, students will learn (or recap) the basics of writing firstly: proper grammar, literary devices and skills to adopt a flowered vocabulary. Then, planning techniques and practising writing under timed conditions, if necessary ( for example, 11plus, GCSE and A-level practise). I can create a long-term plan to support any area(s) under the English criteria together with the student and parent, sending the work from each lesson so progress can be tracked and materials kept for revision purposes.

Learning a second or third language is important and very useful in this day and age. I like to make my classes fun, with different kind of interactive activities. I think it’s important for students want to put in the work which is why I find it important to keep students motivated. The aim of these lessons, is for you to reach your goals and achieve the level of fluency you want to achieve, no matter what level you’re starting from.
