I help college students to reinforce their knowledge in mathematics (from Baccalaureate Mathematics applied to Social Sciences), Language and Literature, History, Economics or English. I can help you to pass the course, to achieve a more demanding grade or to catch up on a specific subject in which you have fallen behind.

I give French lessons at all levels, primary, middle school, high school, but also preparation for the baccalaureate, preparation for hypokhâgne and khâgne, reinforcement, tutoring. I also give French as a Foreign Language lessons for people who would like to improve their level in French.

After two years of preparatory classes (khâgne-hypokhâgne), a bachelor's degree in Modern Literature and a Master's degree in Literature and Audiovisual, I learned a mastery of the French language (grammar, spelling, syntax) that I was able to put into practice. when writing articles for various magazines. I also have a very good knowledge of French literature with a regular practice of the exercises of the dissertation and the composed commentary: analysis of the subject, reflection, organization of ideas, writing.

Students needing support with their studies in GCSE English and A level English will be given one to one specialist help with lessons designed to work towards their particular exam board. Students will learn how to read and analyse a text effectively using subject specific terminology as well as improving their creative writing skills. This class will use a combination of useful worksheets to ensure knowledge of grammar and literary terms is improved as well as varied and interesting writing tasks. The reading material will be taken from exam board websites and as well as from set texts from all UK specifications and will always be challenging. Students will have work marked accurately and effectively by an examiner from the WJEC board and given feedback which will help the student to improve on existing skills.

My goal is to help my students as much as I can to study in a more enjoyable way, always adapting to the needs of each person. Learn French/History/Philosophy with a second Year 19 year old university Student at UCL, French native speaker. We can work on a school program, and I also offer my own structure if needed. I can especially help for preparation for the French baccalaureate, having graduated with High Honours (18,5/20) and being familiar with the new programs. English Literature is an essential skill used for English gcse which I have spent a lot of detail looking in to and I - myself changed my own gcse grades drastically using a lot of time and grade specific research. I specialise very confidently in Macbeth, an Inspector calls and Christmas Carol, however research for other topics will be covered in detail before we begin sessions. I intend on supporting my students with mindmaps, pushing them to explore deeper meanings which the examiner may have not heard and also grading exam answers. I want to make this as affordable as I can as I myself was once in this position and any student is capable of drastically changing their grade. I am very passionate about this subject and want other people to see the joy in it too. We can also cover love and relations poetry or war/conflict. Sociology is another subject I’m extremely passionate about and genuinely enjoy, I intend on going through exam papers and making mind maps and analysis on key sociologist and theories. I studied family, research methods and crime at gcse and (currently) second year on sociology A level studying education, family and households and crime this year. English is my native language, I read a lot of poetry and have taught some family members English in our own ESOL style type of class so I am willing to help anybody else who may be struggling

I propose to make this activity more fun and interesting by helping the students to appropriate the works they are studying, and why not make them want to take an interest in various authors or novels that would support our work.
