These courses are for all those who love music and who want to enter the world of piano. Courses for beginners (young or adults) or for experienced ones. I propose indeed the musical awakening (from 3 years), a preparation for the exams and entrance exams in conservatories. I graduated from the Master of Piano Pedagogy at the Geneva High School of Music and the Master of Concert with a special prize 2018. I have been teaching for over 12 years. Classes will take place at home on a grand piano, but I can eventually move.

Makam are modes found in Arabic, Greek, Turkish, Armenian, in the Balkans and beyond. There are many regional and historical variations but also a broad common heritage. We will study the basics of the makam modal system, how to improvise (taksim) and modulate from one makam to another. Untempered instruments are more suited to practicing specific makam intervals: voice, violin, clarinet, .. Reading the music theory is optional, These musical traditions were transmitted orally but there are also scores that I will teach you to decode.

My activities as a flute teacher in a conservatory led me to work musical and instrumental practice, individually and collectively, across all cycles, from musical awakening to more advanced training in the 3rd cycle, or even in master class for future professionals.
