My name is Christina, I am a piano teacher with a degree from the conservatory specializing in classical piano, as well as a master's degree in music pedagogy. I have been teaching piano for over 15 years and have trained more than a hundred students of all ages and levels. Passionate about music and its teaching, as both a piano teacher and music education teacher in college, my professional experience extends to different countries. I have also had the opportunity to participate in various cultural events, as a solo pianist and accompanist for opera singers. I therefore offer piano lessons at your home throughout the right bank of Geneva, up to Nyon. My lessons are for children, teenagers, and adults of all levels, whether for simple recreation or for advanced training. I also offer specialized services such as four-hand piano, wellness piano (for behavioral issues such as hyperactivity, stress, stage fright, etc.), preparation for conservatory competitions and exams, and musical awakening for toddlers. I am here to support you in your own musical journey or that of your child, whether you wish to begin, continue, or resume playing the piano. My lessons are relaxed and take place in a friendly and joyful atmosphere, focused on the love of music. I offer high-quality instruction based on enjoyment and personal growth, without neglecting the essential technical aspects necessary for progress. Hello! I'm an award-winning Canadian classical pianist and experienced teacher offering piano lessons for all levels, beginner to advanced. I have performed with orchestra and has a soloist in various festivals across Canada, Germany, Austria, Spain and Switzerland, in addition to being a prize winner in numerous competitions, as well as the recipient of numerous grants and awards. Having over 15 years of experience as a teacher (including my own private studio and a teaching assistant at the University of Montreal), I am very dedicated to my students of each person. Pianist student at the HEM in Geneva offers piano lessons as well as music theory! Basic elementary and intermediate level I also propose a part to speak about the musical appreciation of all the periods of the history of the music. For all ages! These will be lessons to work on the piano (beginners and intermediate) while we talk about music theory (harmony, music theory, analysis, etc.) and also a time to listen to recordings and talk about musical appreciation. Besides classical education, I also work with jazz pieces and pop music. It's an hour to have fun, learn and discover. I have over five years of experience teaching piano and music theory, with children, youth and adults. I can move to the student's home (Lausanne and Canton of Vaud) and I am flexible with weekly schedules. I adapt to each student and situation! Classes can be given in French, Spanish or English.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.
