During the 2022-2023 academic year, I taught piano to students of all ages at the RedMusik Music School (Igualada, Catalonia). I studied piano and other instruments for over 15 years at the UGDA and the Luxembourg City Conservatory. After many years of solfège and piano, I obtained the Conservatory's "Première Mention" certificate with the highest possible grade, "Très Bien". A good music lesson should include not only technique and reading sheet music, but also theoretical and harmonic study, improvisation, recreational playing with the instrument, and ear training and rhythm exercises. I am interested in designing the lesson creatively and adapting it to the needs and desires of the student. In my head (only there just there) I already know a lot of Korean words. But when I try to talk I can't make 1 sentence out of it. That's why I wanted private lesson. What I really like about Severine is that she is very patient, she keeps up with my pace. Once I understand the material I'd like to move on, Palli Palli! She is a good explainer and because of that I'm feeling more and more confidence to talk (and write) in Korean. I already can Write my name in the sand, but soon I will be able to... Talk to myself for hours.. ..Say things that You WILL understand ;)

Suzanne makes learning piano truly enjoyable. I’m a mature student with limited sight reading capabilities, little discipline and bad habits! And still she has managed to improve my playing and motivation enormously within a few lessons. I really appreciate her teaching me in English too, it helps overcome the language barrier so I can focus on learning piano. I like her teaching methodology, and her home is a comfortable environment to learn in, complete with 2 pianos so we can play along together. I really like this approach. I highly recommend Suzanne.
