Piano lessons given in your home by experienced teacher. I have taught children and adults piano for over 20 years (first in New York, then Paris and now I am starting in Geneva). While a classical pianist, I am happy to teach any style of music because my primary goal is for the students to enjoy themselves. Music is a gift that we can all appreciate. Having university degrees in music history and theory, I always include basic music fundamentals so that the student is knowledgeable and proficient as a musician.

I offer personalized piano lessons in Geneva for children, teenagers and adults, adapted to all levels, from beginner to more advanced pianist. I have been playing piano for over ten years, with training that combines conservatory studies, private lessons, and self-study. This experience has allowed me to develop a varied repertoire ranging from classical to contemporary music (film scores, pop, jazz), as well as a strong ability to adapt to each student's goals and desires. I also compose, which gives me a very practical approach to musicality and creation. The courses are structured to allow for rapid and lasting progress. Each session generally includes: a technical warm-up to develop coordination and flexibility; work on piano technique and reading scores; learning or perfecting a chosen piece; personalized advice to make effective progress between classes Students can learn to play different styles according to their preferences: classical, film music, pop or jazz. My goal is to pass on my passion for the piano in a serious, educational and motivating environment, with regular follow-up and objectives adapted to the pace of each student.

I have been immersed in music, and particularly the piano, for over 40 years. I was trained by concert professors, who were themselves trained by the greatest (my own professor's piano teacher was taught by Alfred Cortot). I learned music theory at the Conservatoire and harmony and counterpoint at the HEM in Geneva. At the same time, I have a Bachelor's degree in Musicology from the Université des Lettres de Genève. This allows me not only to teach the essential basics of music to students, but also to place each style and each composer in its historical context. This greatly facilitates learning. I teach all types of music, from classical to modern pop, including film music and more recent composers like Ludovico Einaudi. My goal is to give the student a good harmonic foundation and a good musical ear so that they can be independent in what they want to play and always have the pleasure of sitting down at the piano! My classes are aimed at beginners of all ages (children or adults) with no musical knowledge, as well as advanced students or those who want to prepare for theoretical or practical exams. The scores will always be chosen in agreement with the student, according to their objectives and desired progress, mixing all musical styles (classical, pop, film music, etc.) so that they always have fun playing their instrument. Each student is unique, which is why each lesson is prepared individually to meet their aspirations or objectives. It is very important to me that the course takes place in a kind and sharing atmosphere, with discussion. For children, I can conduct regular interviews with parents in person or by phone (after each lesson if necessary) to report on the progress made and the achievement of desired objectives. I am very flexible regarding the wishes of each student and therefore adapt easily to any situation. The strong points of the lessons: • In all styles (classical, contemporary, modern hits, film music) • All levels, courses in French • Possibility of courses or additional courses in English or Russian if necessary • All ages (for children under 6 years old, lessons of 15-20 minutes maximum with adapted price) • Organization of recitals in the presence of parents and the public in a friendly atmosphere • Kindness • Adaptation to each student, definition of objectives individually • The student can choose certain pieces that he would like to play • Improvisation: learning improvisation techniques so that the student can play pieces on the piano naturally and without sheet music. • For children: regular interviews with parents in person or by telephone (after each lesson if necessary) to report on progress made and achievement of desired objectives • Discount from the 2nd student per family • Listening to each student • Always in kindness and benevolence • Theory and practice are taught in parallel so that the student always enjoys everything they do. Possibility of taking the two separately (either piano or music theory) • Share my passion for music • Patience • Piano 4 hands • Canton of Geneva – free travel

Hello! I am a professional music educator with 16 years of experience dedicated to making music an indispensable part of life rather than just a lesson. Throughout my career, I have mentored over 1,000 students individually, guiding hundreds of them to successfully enter Conservatories and Fine Arts High Schools. 🏆 My philosophy is simple: Music is loved first, then learned. I prioritize building a deep connection between the student and their instrument. Whether you want to master the Piano, Violin, Guitar, or Oud, I offer a holistic approach that combines technical skill, ear training, and rhythm development. I don’t believe in rote memorization. My teaching system is based on logic and understanding the "mathematics" of music. By simplifying complex music theory and "Makam" knowledge into practical and engaging methods, I ensure my students reach a stage-ready level in as little as one year. 🎼 In my online studio, I provide a high-quality learning experience using multi-camera angles and professional sound setups that rival face-to-face lessons. Whether you are a preschooler, a young aspiring artist, or an adult beginner, I create personalized, goal-oriented roadmaps to help you reach your musical dreams. 🌍 Let’s start this journey together and build a solid foundation that lasts a lifetime
