***NEW!*** Summer 2026 promotion for online lessons. Additional video and written guidance after online lesson are provided when needed. Being highly skilled in sight-reading, I have often realized how valuable and enjoyable it is to possess that “gift.” After more than ten years of teaching students of different levels and aspirations, I have observed a common thread: regardless of their goals, all were eager to improve their ability to read and interpret new, unfamiliar music. Currently, I am developing a multifaceted approach designed to help students understand a composition at first sight. This method combines specific pattern recognition and structural score-mapping, anchored in a fundamental understanding of rhythm, pitch, and harmony, together with highly effective practice and memorization strategies personalized to each student's needs and technical challenges. For over ten years, I have been teaching students of all ages and levels. In addition to regular lessons, I offer the opportunities to perform at the yearly class concert as well as dedicated preparation for ABRSM piano examinations. I'm a pianist with extensive performing experience on international stages and a first-prize winner of more than 30 international piano competitions across Europe and USA. I hold a Master's degree and four Postgraduate degrees (piano and chamber music) from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.

I have been teaching piano for over 10 years to students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced. What my students notice most? Their rapid progress. Thanks to individualized teaching tailored to each student, I ensure that every lesson is both effective and motivating. I pay particular attention to rhythm, musical ear, and understanding of music — not just note execution. Lessons at my home are given on a grand piano. Lessons can be given in French, English, or Chinese.

In French : For almost ten years, my method has strived to move away from those found at the Academy, sometimes considered austere and outdated. In my opinion, the student is the main actor in his learning, and the teacher should be his caring guide. In my opinion, his role is to provide him with appropriate help and support, and not to impose pre-established rules that do not take into account his unique needs. The image of the harsh and cold teacher should therefore be forgotten with me. My philosophy is always to encourage without imposing. The student will also have the opportunity to have access to a much broader repertoire than that imposed in classical education. Thus, he will be able to play his favorite music from all walks of life, whether it be themes from songs, plays, films, series or even video games. Of course, I also encourage classical music, as long as the student finds pleasure in it, which remains and will remain the most important for me. After all, what is music if not the purest and universal essence of our humanity, which brings together and unites our hearts and minds? In English: Over a decade of teaching, I have developed a method of teaching piano that differs from the ones found in the academic environment. For me, the student should be at the center of his learning journey. The teacher should be a guide who provides the student with tailor-made help and support, without forcing preexisting rules that don't reflect the unique needs of each student. No cold, strict or ill-tempered teaching on my watch! My philosophy goes by the following: always encourage, never impose. The student also has the opportunity to explore a much larger repertoire than the one imposed in classical education. He/She has the freedom to play any music from all backgrounds, including songs, shows, movies, series or even video games. Of course I also encourage classical music, as long as the student enjoys it, which will always be the most important part for me. After all, what is music, if not the purest and most universal essence of our humanity, the one that connects our hearts and souls?

I had a plusure meeting and a lesson with Salih. He was welcoming relax and approchable every level. Asking what you like, he wasnt boring like some other teachers. I recomend him who is looking for a teacher who listens to your thought on the it as well and asks you what and how you like your lessons. Thank you.

First piano lesson with Kanako was great. She is a very nice and conversational teacher. I've got lot of useful advice on the next pieces to play and help during the lesson. I recommend this teacher for anyone regardless of prior playing experience!

Yoana has a very soft and gentle approach. She teaches you not only techniques but also how to “feel” the music through your body. She respects your pace and will assist along. I highly recommend Yoana as a piano teacher.
