Hi! I’m Didac Barber, a professional concert pianist and experienced teacher from Spain, now based in the Netherlands. I hold a Master’s in Piano Performance from The Hartt School (USA) and trained at ESMUC Barcelona, studying with top international pianists like Adolf Pla and Luiz de Moura Castro. I’ve performed across Europe, the U.S., and Asia, and have taught piano for over 15 years — in conservatories, private studios, and internationally online. My passion lies not only in performance but in helping students discover what they are capable of. I’m dedicated, empathetic, and patient — and I want you to enjoy your learning journey as much as I do sharing it. Each student is different, and so are my lessons. Whether you're just starting out or already preparing for auditions or performances, I’ll adapt the lesson to your goals, challenges, and musical taste. We can work, all in a way that feels personal and motivating, on: * Technique and sound production * Repertoire (classical, contemporary, film music, etc.) * Musical expression and interpretation * Performance preparation (concerts, exams, auditions) * Practice strategies and confidence-building I’m here to help you be the best pianist you can be, whether that means mastering Bach or finally playing your favorite piece with confidence. Lessons are at students home or online, and taught in English, Spanish, or Catalan, unfortunately not in Dutch for now. Feel free to message me if you have any questions. I’d love to hear about your musical goals and help you reach them. Let’s make music together! — Didac 🎶

My aim in teaching is to inspire students to become as involved in music as they possibly can, and find an interest in it that will stay with them forever. I have nearly 10 years of experience teaching, and have a piano at my home or can travel to your home. I have a BMus Degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire as well as an ATCL from Trinity College. In addition, I've studied at the Conservatorium of Music in Sydney, Australia. My primary focus is around classical music, but I am experienced in teaching Music Theory as well as non-classical styles.

Do you want to teach (electric) piano, keyboard or synthesizer? Then you have come to the right place! Gosse (1989) has been giving piano lessons for more than 10 years and we are proud to announce that almost all students who start the lessons actually continue. The lessons are primarily focused on fun and development. He knows from experience that the most important ingredients for learning to play the piano as effectively as possible are: 1: The pleasure of playing The fun is increased by learning to play numbers that the student experiences as beautiful or fun and that bring the right degree of challenge. Gosse mainly specializes in Pop, Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Funk, Bossa-nova, Latin and Light classical styles. Learn to play your favorite songs! 2: Learning in the way that best suits the student There are three different ways in which someone can learn to play the piano: sheet music, by ear and (the relatively new way) through software programs such as Synthesia. The correct method differs from person to person. 3: Knowing the music theory / shortcuts The three ways you can learn to play the piano described above help you press the right keys at the right time. But it can be easier. Namely by knowing the underlying music theory and / or the shortcuts! Gosse also teaches music production (songwriting and producing). He is most specialized in the Logic Pro and Ableton studio programs. He also helps vocalists who want to accompany themselves on the piano. Feel free to contact us for a trial lesson, for a more detailed version of the above 3 points or if you want to know more!

My name is Maaike, I am 25 and graduated from Conservatorium Haarlem where I studied Voice, in May 2018. I've been playing the piano since I was little, both classical and popular repertoire, and also started singing while simultaneously playing the piano or guitar to accompany myself. Nowadays, I write songs for myself and others and play these songs live with a band under my artist name MYCA. In June 2021 I finished a Songwriting Master in Rotterdam at Codarts Conservatorium. Since 2017 I have taught private or duo singing lessons, piano lessons, and guitar lessons at students' homes in Haarlem and surrounding areas. Would you like to accompany your own singing? Combination lessons of singing/piano or singing/guitar are also a possibility.

The rule is simple: don't be afraid to make a fool of yourself! Students are encouraged to try, fail, and overall be proactive in learning new information in bite-sized chunks: all of that in a warm and comforting environment. Depending on the personal goal of the student, we will learn/refine/explore the following topics: - Fundamental techniques of playing piano - How to read and play chords - How to play an improvised solo - How to change the underlying harmonies of a song to make it sound cooler (or weirder!) - Understanding how the musical elements are glued in a song, and if you dare, how to write one yourself - How to learn music or play music by ear - Exploring piano-looking-like instruments such as electric keyboards and subtractive synthesizers Languages: English (fluent), German (B1 and improving), Korean (native)
