Hello everyone, My name is Anaïs and I am a final year master's student in classical piano at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Since childhood, I have been immersed in the world of classical music, which has always had a profound impact on me. Trombone is an interesting instrument in the Brass family. The movement of the slide makes it fun to play with and make music. You can even join jazz bands and some other activities once you get a hold of it! In my trombone class, you can learn to play beginner trombone with some simple songs alongside some music theory. The class opens the door for beginners in music learning. I can also provide beginner piano lessons at the same time!

I use techniques that are quite simple to learn but which are very effective. The course is always done in kindness and good humor. As with everything, you have to work to hope to achieve results. My role is to enable you to speed up the process significantly through specific methods. The typical lesson takes place as follows: First, we start to analyze the score you are going to play (key, rhythm,...) Then, we begin to play the right hand alone (often the main melody) at a fairly slow pace. Finally we tackle the left hand alone (often the accompaniment that covers the piece) at a fairly slow pace as well. Once the 2 hands are perfectly mastered separately, it's time to assemble. Always at a fairly slow speed at the beginning and we accelerate as we go. I am a calm teacher, I have been in your shoes and I know the difficulty of each step, which makes me an understanding teacher as well. I am also very educational, I do animation in life as a nutons chef (children from 5 to 8 years old).

Also, these kids were invited to participate to the Juilliard School festival, with masterclass and lessons, a fabulous chance and experience that I wish all young pianists could have! On Sept 1st 2024 three awarded students of mine were invited to perform at The DiMenna Classical Centre of Music in Manhattan, from another American competition, the International Youth Music Competition. I wish I can always bring such great opportunities and successes to all of my "piano kids"!
