Trusted teacher: Dear music enthusiasts or those who want to be, I would like to briefly introduce myself and offer my knowledge in the field of music. Music has been a part of my life since I was 8 years old. For 10 years I have been gaining experience as an orchestral musician in various locations, for example: Bochumer Symphoniker, Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie, Cologne Symphony Orchestra. From 2019 I will be a permanent member of the classical orchestra and will also be a lecturer in the music school at Aachen Cathedral. My students develop into participants and also award winners of various competitions such as: Jugend musiziert and the Carl Bechstein competition for children and young people. ► My particular strengths and offers: Through my experience in music therapy, I am able to show the students a way to express themselves with the help of music. There is the possibility to arrange online lessons methodology Violin lessons: ► Basic knowledge of Leopold Auer's Russian violin school ► A program individually created by me - age and previous knowledge are taken into account (from 6 years / beginners - music students) ► Specializing in preparing for entrance exams or auditions for an orchestra. ► catching up on harmony and music theory if necessary Many of my students can thus prepare themselves sufficiently for an entrance examination at the music college. Piano Lesson ► Only for beginners and amateur musicians ► Getting to know the instrument and the notes together so that you can play different melodies independently in the future ► Children from 5 years

Trusted teacher: I hold a master’s degree in music composition from McGill University. Previously, I completed a Bachelor of music in music composition at the University of Oregon. My professional history includes awards such as first-prize winner at the Frost International Composition Competition, third-prize winner in Untwelve Microtonal Composition Competition, third-prize winner of the Golden Key International Composition Competition, the honorable mention for the Elevate Ensemble international call for scores, and the Max Stern Fellowship in Music as well as the Graduate Excellence fellowship in Music. I was also given the “Outstanding Undergraduate Composer” award in 2017 by the University of Oregon composition department. My works have been performed in Perth, Vienna, Oregon, Florida, Boston, and Montreal. Since 2008 I have been teaching students privately on subjects of piano, music theory, aural skills, music history, composition, and orchestration. Additionally, I have classroom teaching experience at university level. In summer of 2019 I had the privilege of teaching 3 summer courses at the University of Oregon. where I taught courses on music theory and aural skills. Moreover, in Fall 2019 I had the opportunity to be the graduate teaching assistant at McGill University for an undergraduate level course called “art of listening.” This course was essentially a survey of music history from 9th century to 21st century. I believe that learning music should be a fun and rewarding experience. Whether teaching a class or one-on-one, I strive to create an inclusive and positive learning environment where I can work together with the student/s to create goals and inspire them to have high standards for their own progress and performance. I am committed to help students reach their full potential in learning music.
