This means that, if you are willing to improve your speaking skills, for instance, I provide you with specific learning methods and activities that would mainly focus on verbal communication and so on. After each class, I assign a small homework piece, always based on how busy you are during the week, as I believe repetition is key to improvement. I provide a comfortable and energetic learning environment, in which learners can express themselves confidently.

My decision to become a teacher was influenced by my passion for languages and my willingness to help people in a field that I am passionate and comfortable with.

I am a highly-positive person and believe that positive interaction is one of the main aspects of teaching.

Education

I earned my BA in Modern Languages & Literature in a Belgian university in Brussels. My classes were in English, French and German.
I continued studying Modern Languages & Literature but with a focus on education at master's level in another Belgian university, where I had literature, linguistics and Second Language Teaching classes in these three languages, as well as an internship in teaching.

Experience / Qualifications

I have worked as a private language tutor with individuals or groups for 6 years, teaching French, Turkish and English. Today, my classes with my students from Belgium continue via Skype, therefore I am very at ease teaching online.
I also worked as an English & German teacher in secondary-school education back in Belgium.
