About Me

I have been studying music since I was 6 years old and graduated in Organ and Organ's Composition with optimal marks at the Conservatory of Triest. The course lasted 10 years, and provided me with a title which is equivalent of a Master's degree.
I am Italian, but I have an international mindset and can teach in Spanish and English (and Italian of course!).

I recently discovered my vocation: teaching. I love to make even hard and complex subjects accessible to every one and offer different paths suitable to each student, so I can't wait to see you in one of my classes!

Online Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga classes to release trauma and negative emotions!

I offer flowy, creative and funky vinyasa and hatha classes. Slow flow yin-like classes are an option as well! The classes are held online, through zoom or other platforms, but they will be in person as well in a few months!

The classes can focus on hips flexibility and mobility specifically, in order to work on the lower chakras, but the preferences of the student will be discussed so to tailor the class on the basis of your needs. Classes are generally addressing the whole body with a greater focus on the lower areas in the last parts of the class. I encourage feeling one own's body with care to ensure that we are working on the areas that most need attention! But working on the hips can be very useful to release facial and jaw tension, tap into femininity and release stored negative emotions of fear and shame. Classes are sensitive to trauma and can be very good to reestablish a connection to an often forgotten (female) body, but also to cultivate compassion, forgiveness and clarity. Percussion is the spark that makes you behoove!
I am Keith, a Hong Kong percussionist based in Amsterdam and currently finishing my master degree in the Conservatory van Amsterdam. I have won several major international competitions and have great experience in performing. I have also taught privately and conducted masterclasses to inspire the next generation of percussionists.
The best thing of being a percussionist is that you can play and find music anytime anywhere! Whether if it's a timpani or your comb, you can produce so many different sounds and exciting rhythm. With one technique, you can almost play anything!
If you are a total beginner with music, percussion is one of the easiest way into it. Instruments sound nice already when you play them. Lessons start from knowing the pulse and developing your groove, to knowing the notes and establishing basic musicality. Then slowly you will explore the vast sound world of percussion, starting with drums, mallets instrument or any objects that you can think of!
If you are looking for more help in excelling in your craft, my professional experience can offer you great guidance and advice, no matter if it's technically or artistically, or even stage presence and healthy mindset.
My ultimate goal in teaching is to motivate my students to find joy and confidence through music. I will offer you a clear structure so that you will understand better how to reach your goal, and a supportive learning environment so that you can explore your potential!

Q: What other instruments except drumset can I learn from percussion?
A: With similar technique, you can play mallets instruments like marimba which has a warm healing sound, or orchestral instruments like triangle or tambourine. And with the rhythmic sense from learning drum set, you can literally play groove in the world, no matter if it is latin or asian or middle east! The sky is the limit!

Q: What do you value the most in your lesson?
A: Sincerity and curiosity. I hope we can have honest communication and I can offer you new inspiration every lessons.

Q: How do you keep your lessons engaging and fun?
A: It all starts with your own interest and passion. If you have a specific genre or instrument that you like, we will build your musical sense from there, even if it's death metal or jazz. I will offer you different kinds of exercises and ideas until you own the skill.

Q: What inspires you to become a musician?
A: I just love to perform!

You'll learn how to use the voice in the proper way, starting from your natural speech and developing it to find your own sound. I have experience in both Pop and Jazz styles (a Bachelor in Jazz Singing and a degree in Jazz Composition), so it's possible to study songs from both these repertoires. I also give Music Theory lessons, to make the student develop his/her own style and musical sensibility and, in the case of Jazz, to know how to improvise on different chord changes and jazz styles.

Hi there! Have you always wanted to learn the flute or do you feel like picking up this beautiful instrument again after a break?

As a teacher with more than 6 years of experience, I offer private lessons for all ages and all levels.
I learned my teaching skills from famous flute teachers of our time. I have experience teaching both children and adults and I think it is essential that we both have fun while learning something as wonderful as playing music! Lessons are adapted to your needs and we will develop your musicality and technical skills together. In addition to Classical music, we can also work on other music styles if necessary. For example, I am familiar with Brazilian folk music, Baroque music, Modern Music and Jazz.
It is also possible to request academic support with the instrument, music theory or history.

Hello! I am Inês, a professional violinist based in Amsterdam.

After completing my Bachelor at Codarts-Rotterdam and my Master and Postgraduate in violin performance at the Koniklijk Conservatory Brussel, I am currently active as a freelance violinist and perform regularly in chamber music concerts, having played in festivals such as the Grachten Festival, OUTDOORS, Opera Forward Festival, Uitmarkt, among others.

I am also passionate about teaching, and have experience working both in individual lessons with a wide range of ages and in conducting group workshops for children.

One of the things i enjoy the most is to see the growth of the students and to help them doing things at the piano that they thought were impossible to achieve! Of course the most important thing is to have fun and i do not put pressure if the students don't want to dive into more complex pianistic challenges.
