Art for Everybody: A4E - Nurture your curiosity
From 26.8 £ /h
Hello, hi :)
I'm Mia, your future private art tutor if you're interested!
I'm a visual artist working across different mediums, from more classical forms like drawing and painting to multimedia practices such as video and performance.
I graduated from a high school of art and design in France, continued my studies at the School of Fine Arts in Geneva HEAD, and I'm currently finishing a specialization in choreography at the Academy of Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam.
I'm offering a series of personalized art classes that can focus on various mediums, whether you're looking to explore new artistic tools, prepare for entrance exams to art schools, or simply nurture your curiosity. All ages and experience levels are welcome.
Here are three class options to start with:
Sketching and Drawing
Learn the basics of observational drawing and graphic composition. We can focus on a specific subject or go on walks to observe and draw what we see in our surroundings.
Video
An introduction to video basics and editing software. We’ll explore how to use cameras in a raw, intuitive way and understand the logic behind lighting and other technical tools.
Art School Preparation
Guidance in building a portfolio, formatting and laying out documents, and exploring different printing techniques. Ideal for those preparing to apply to art schools or looking to expand their artistic practice.
Feel free to reach out with questions or specific interests. I'm happy to adapt the classes to your needs.

About Me
I’m a 27-year-old visual artist with a wide range of interests. My educational journey has introduced me to various artistic approaches, and I’m eager to share these perspectives with anyone who’s interested. I’m a curious, nerdy, and passionate person, always looking to connect different ways of making art while also dedicating time to developing knowledge.
My "toolbox" is a blend of practical skills and theoretical understanding. I love drawing people on the subway, spending afternoons sketching in the park, or diving into raw, experimental processes. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on art films, in theaters, with various artists, and to give workshops in Amsterdam, Geneva, and Berlin.
