I've been teaching Spanish to my friends for a while now and it's actually going really well, so I think it would be fun to teach Spanish to multiple people. I myself was raised bilingually, because my mother is Spanish. I come from Brabant, but have been living in Amsterdam for a number of years now. During the lessons we will also do speaking, listening and reading exercises. I will adapt to the level and determine the speed accordingly.

I have been teaching Spanish for more than 15 years and I have worked in several institutes and embassies as a teacher and cultural bridge. Apart from my background in philosophy at university, I am interested in art, politics, culture as an expression of an epoch, psychoanalysis, comparative religions, etc. In this context, with many of my more advanced students we work with texts and films where our interests intersect. For the more beginning classes the emphasis is also on conversation, but with a grammatical framework and progression. That is why I am interested in understanding the students‘ objectives. Whether learning for pleasure or for a trip, to take an international exam or for cultural reasons, I believe that framing the classes in a structure allows the creative to emerge.
