Hi my name is Osian and I’m a cellist from South Wales. I’ve taught children of many ages and standards and I really feel privileged to be a part of someone’s musical and personal development. Music lessons can be a way of reaching the concert platform or it could be a way of expressing yourself and being creative, wether it’s a career path or not. I grew up playing and singing where my first priority was to fall in love with music and learn to perform it to the best standard that I could do and that’s what I’d like to encourage my students to aim for too. I’m a BMus Hons Scholar from The Royal Academy of Music and I’m not studying at a masters lever at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

Music theory can be a very overwhelming thing, when there are so many different ways to explain a concept, a chord, a system, an song... I will help you lay down a steady foundation of music theory and ear-training, explain the complexities with personal approaches and help you navigate and analyse the music you love. I will use a basis of jazz theory which is also most used in pop-music. If you already play an instrument, this class will help you to deeper understand what you are playing and why it works musically. And any suggestions, wishes and dreams are welcome!

Hello there! My name is Antek and i'm a cellist and composer who graduated from Conservatorium van Amsterdam. As a cellist I've had the pleasure and honour of collaborating with renowned artists such as Hans Zimmer, being part of his 2022 European Tour Orchestra, touring over 15 countries and playing in locations such as London's O2 Arena or Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. I am now mainly active as a performer of contemporary/experimental music, as well as classical music, freelancing in various orchestras in the Netherlands, having played in venues such as Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, Concertgebouw or TivoliVredenburg. I offer cello lessons, regardless of the level - whether you are a curious beginner or more advanced player, i'm happy to collaborate and share my knowledge and experience with you, as well as inspire your creativity regarding both playing the right notes, and making artistic choices. I can also help you prepare for conservatory entrance exams by providing Solfege, Ear-training and General Music Theory lessons. As a composer, I'm currently pursuing a degree at Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. I can help you work on your ideas, and how to write them down, to sound exactly how you want them to sound. That includes tutorials on engraving rules, orchestration, working in DAWs (Ableton) and using sheet music software (Sibelius, MuseScore), as well as building your craft and workflow. I'm experienced in writing both instrumental and electronic music, as well as performance art, live electronics and multidisciplinary projects. I have also collaborated with institutions like National Polish Radio or CelloWercken Festival Zutphen. Hello everyone! I’m Taras a professional panflute player. I started playing the panflute when I was 5 years old. Ever since then I spent every day improving my skills and perfecting my craft. Throughout my career I had won numerous prices and was able to perform throughout Europe. I’m currently studying at the Conservatory van Amsterdam. I’m teaching private lessons as well as giving masterclasses at festivals. If you are interested in learning to play the panflute or improve your playing skills, I would love to help you along the way. With my years of experience and my wide ranging love of music from folk music to classical to contemporary I’m willing to broaden your musical horizon and bring you a wide range of technique to help you becoming the musician you want to be! I teach from beginners to advanced players. I will help you better understand the instrument and music in general as well as give you an understanding of music theory. My lessons will be tailored to your needs and aspirations for you to see the results you want.

I have been playing classical piano for 14 years. Obviously a lot solo, but also in ensembles, as an accompanist for flutists, violinists, clarinetists and singers. I was also a paid rehearsal director and pianist for a music theater company for a while and I played concerts in an orchestra. More importantly, I also enjoy teaching! Whether you are just starting out or have been working for some time, together we can tinker with your technique and execution.

In these classes we can dive into harmony, melody, composing and recording into Logic Pro X or Ableton Live. We can create compositions using either traditional techniques or tools such as musescore or any DAW (digital audio workstation) to create our pieces.

This class can be anything you choose from the specified lessons. I teach piano, any genre is welcome since I have been playing and studying all of them, anything you choose is possible. We could start with absolute beginner lessons, or if you are already have been playing and you want to upgrade your skills, we will continue to make you a better player, or composer. I can also provide help and guidance with preparations for exams or auditions.
