Hi,

Besides all elements of guitar knowledge and technique, I have developed my teaching method based on stage experience, acknowledging the importance of fun also when learning seriously, importance of relaxation and injury-avoidance, and general musicianship (keeping the big picture)
I offer lessons in 5 languages and in a variety of subjects.
I think students can benefit from my vast look on what music consists of as well as my natural sense for teaching.
I am an experienced performing guitarist, composer, teacher and producer.
I teach a range of subjects:

- Note reading
- Instrument technique
- Chords, Harmony, accompany
- Different music styles: Jazz, Brazilian, Folklore, indie
- singer-songwriter, pop.
- improvisation
- Composition
- Stage presence
- Relaxation methods for performers
- Personal orientation
- Theory
- Ear training
..And more!
Extra information
Bring your own guitar to the lesson, so I can see on which kind of guitar you normally play. I'll give you some constructive feedback, in case your guitar needs some extra care and issues which require attention.
The rest of information will be provided in your first lesson.

About Me
Hi there! I am glad to be able share my 2 passions which are performing and teaching. I have been playing with some of the world's most outstanding musicians and in various countries. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience on stage.
I enjoy teaching students who are motivated and have thirst for knowledge.
I am a very patient person and enjoy equally teaching an advanced student as well as a beginner. Everyone comes with a different background of experience, tendencies and character, and that's why I never teach 2 people in the same way.
I combine in my teaching elements of yoga, meditation, martial arts, sports and more.
The most important thing in my view, when choosing a teacher, is to have that 'click'! When you find that someone, it's priceless. You are then on your way to something good!
Education
Graduated from 2 conservatories.
I have also my private practice, where I implement my teaching method, which has been developed over the years. We are used in society to anything fast, and value it as a positive, but when it comes to learn something, we only achieve to reach deep by a slow process of learning.
Experience / Qualifications
Taught previously in different institutions in different countries. I have worked with students with a variety of characters, certain conditions and people carrying trauma. Many of my students are nowadays professional musicians (and happy! :) ).

I teach cello to students of all ages and levels: from complete beginners to those preparing for conservatory auditions. My goal is to build your technique and musicality together, step by step, so that you're always challenged but never overwhelmed.

A typical lesson works on a mix of technique (posture, bow control, tone production), repertoire suited to your level and taste, and — if you want it — music theory and sight-reading. I'll set clear short-term goals with you each lesson and check in regularly on your progress, so you always know what you're working toward and why.

I have experience teaching students with dyslexia and ADHD, and I adjust my pacing and explanations so lessons stay clear and comfortable rather than stressful. If you're an absolute beginner, don't worry — I've taught people who've never held a cello before, and we start exactly where you are.

A bit about my background: I hold a Master of Music from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where I studied under Ella van Poucke, and I graduated cum laude from the Conservatory and University of Thessaloniki. With my quartet, I won First Prize and the Young Jury Prize at the Storioni Festival Competition 2026, and I've performed at venues including Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Muziekgebouw Amsterdam, and Muziekgebouw Eindhoven.

Lessons can be in English, Dutch, German, or Greek, in Amsterdam or online. Get in touch and tell me a bit about your goals — I'll tailor our first lesson around them.

If you’re interested, feel free to contact me with any questions.
