In 2023, I've obtained a Master degree in Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. I've achieved the C1+ levels in English, on the CEFR scale. I have 2 years of experience living in London, where I acquired RP (received pronunciation) and 7 years of experience in the International Academia (Amsterdam). My linguistic background gives me the capacity to explain the sounds and various processes of the language, from a perspective many natives do not know. In teaching, I practice the holistic approach. I have always been passionate about arts, culture, people, and traveling, and through my communicative experiences interacting with different people in different languages around the world, I have understood the essential needs when it comes to language acquisition. That is why my method is a compilation of the traditional usage of books, texts, audios, and short films, combined with PowerPoint presentations full of images, interactive games, and recreation of real-life situations in which the students will naturally learn complex grammar topics while having fun. I also create a particular relationship with each student to detect the type of learner the student is and tailor the class according to his/her personality, needs, and expectations.
