I'm Melani, I'm 26 years old and I live in Antwerp. I’ve been studying the clarinet since I was 7 years old and I have taught children and teenagers from the age of 20. This is my second year studying here, in Master 2 at the Antwerp Conservatory as a clarinetist with Julien Hervè (principal clarinet of the Rotterdam Philharmonic). I’m really enjoy teaching and I feel that it is something I’m very good at and it gives me expierence in my musical career :)

I have a clarinet to give you during the lesson, but I don’t have a mouthpiece. However, is better if you bring your own clarinet and material (sheet music for what you want to play).

About Me

Melani is a 27-year-old clarinetist originally from Belgium, currently residing in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. She began her musical studies at the age of seven at the local music school, where she was fortunate to receive private instruction from the esteemed Sabine Grofmeier. Encouraged by Ms. Grofmeier to pursue further musical education, subsequently enrolled in the medium-grade music program in Palma, under the tutelage of Jordi Rumbau.

In 2018, she moved to Valencia to continue her studies with Emilio Ferrando, completing her Bachelor’s degree in 2022. She then advanced her studies at the Music Academy of Valencia, under the guidance of Vicente Alberola, until June 2023. Currently, is pursuing a Master’s degree (Master 1) at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, where she is under the mentorship of Julien Hervé.

Throughout her academic career, has had the privilege of participating in masterclasses with a number of distinguished professors, including Wenzel Fuchs, Chi Yu Mo, Arno Piters, Eddy Vanoosthuyse, Johannes Peitz, and José Luis Estellés, among others. She has performed with several prestigious orchestras, including the Philharmonic Orchestra of the University of Valencia, the Orchestral Encounters of the Balearic Islands, and the Chamber Orchestra of Mallorca. In addition to her proficiency in the B-flat clarinet, she is also accomplished on the bass clarinet and the E-flat clarinet, both of which she owns and regularly plays.

is motivated by a strong desire to further her artistic and professional development. She seeks to study abroad in order to broaden her cultural perspectives, experience diverse musical traditions, and refine her interpretative approach. Her ultimate ambition is to attain the highest level of training, thereby positioning herself for inclusion in leading symphonic orchestras—an aspiration she views as a central goal in her career. She is convinced that the value placed on music in her home country is not as pronounced as it is in other parts of Europe, which has strongly influenced her decision to seek educational opportunities outside of Spain.

Although finds it easier to express herself through music than through words, she is confident that the next phase of her studies will provide her with the tools, experiences, and opportunities necessary to reach her full potential as a musician and to contribute meaningfully to the international music scene.

Discover and master the guitar!

As a Bachelor 3 student in classical guitar at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, experienced in playing in different bands, writing, and performing music, I can offer my knowledge from various styles of guitar playing and music theory.

I am Cèlia, a Catalan cellist living in Antwerp. I studied for my bachelor's degree at the HKU Utrechts Conservatorium and my master's degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen.

As jazz drummer I completed certificate programme for teaching in Istanbul then after I studied one year in the Netherlands currently I'm studying in Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. Features and purpose of this course is mainly improving itself in different genres, the sense of rhythm or produce solutions for better technique on drums.
Starting point could be basics on drums or to be advanced on something specific depends on interest of person.

I am a Belgian violinist from the Ardennes, in Wallonia. I have participated in numerous masterclasses in Belgium and abroad with teachers such as Emile Lavrenov, Liesbeth Baelus, Sylvia Huang, Bartlomiej Ciaston, Andrzej Grudzien, Caroline Poncelet, Lilia Umnova, and Guido de Nève. Drawing inspiration from various examples and broadening my horizons are among my most important goals.

In 2020, I started in the class of Marek Kowalski at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where I obtained my bachelor's degree three years later. After that, I studied for a year at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf in the class of Solenne Païdassi, before starting my master's at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp with Alexei Moshkov, with whom I am currently studying.

I frequently participate in orchestral projects and tours, and also enjoy performing as a chamber musician at festivals and concerts of all kinds. I have made recordings with chamber music ensembles and orchestras, including for film music. I have also had the opportunity to perform as a soloist with an orchestra twice.

I have recently started developing my teaching skills, which I find incredibly interesting! I enjoy every meeting with a new student, and it fascinates me to see the musical and personal development of each of them.

I am a graduate of the Antwerp Conservatory of Music and have been playing the cello for 20 years. Despite my young age, since 2012, after winning many auditions, I have played in orchestral projects in 18 European countries. I regularly participated in music courses and workshops.
Currently, I work as a freelancer and am an active concert musician and private teacher.

Does your child enjoy singing, dancing or exploring sounds? These lessons offer a playful introduction to the world of music.
