I am a Japanese singer. I also sometimes give singing lessons at the Academy of Charleroi. I also give private lessons in Japanese. I have a singing education license (Tokyo, 2010).
I can learn Classical, Pop and Contemporary music, as well as solfège.

Hi!

Have you always wanted to learn to sing?
Is your voice getting tired after singing (alone or in a choir)?
Do you want to be better at singing?
Are you curious about what your voice can do?
Do you sing in a choir and need extra help putting together the material in between rehearsals?

I love passing on the knowledge of my craft. The mechanics of the voice is such a small and intricate thing, and knowing what goes inside our throat and body is a very special experience. I get excited and moved every time a student achieves a new skill, and takes another step towards a deeper understanding of their voice.
On top of my experience as a singer and a teacher, I have a degree in linguistics. That allows me to know exactly what has to be done inside your throat and mouth in order to produce a specific sound. I can therefore adapt to each student: if they have an analytic mind, I can explain what goes on inside and what should be done to improve that. If they have an instinctive mind, I can help with metaphor in order to help the phonation. Or both! My method is multi-faceted because each voice is unique, and it is my job to adapt, and not the contrary.

How does a lesson work?
The first time we meet, we will talk about your journey in the music world. What have you done yet music wise, what artists and genres inspire you, what are your goals. Then we will do what we do in every regular lesson: I will direct you during some warming-up exercises, that include vocal technique work (if you have already warmed up, we just do a few exercises about technique), and then we will work on whatever you want. I ask my students to always come with at least one piece of music they want to work on (or maybe two, depends on the time we have on hands).

See you soon!

Welcome to your ney class! The ney, a traditional Turkish reed flute, is one of the oldest musical instruments in history. With its soft, soulful sounds, the ney holds an important place in Turkish and Islamic culture, especially in Sufi music. This enchanting instrument is not only a medium for music, but also a bridge to spiritual expression.

The ney is closely associated with the teachings of Rumi (Mevlana), the great Persian poet and Sufi mystic of the 13th century. Rumi often used the ney as a metaphor for the human soul. He compared the hollow body of the ney to a human being longing for reunion with his divine origins, producing melodies of longing and love.

In this course you will not only learn the technical skills to play the ney, but you will also discover its profound spiritual and cultural significance. Let the journey begin!

My teaching approach is supportive and personalized. I aim to help each student discover their unique voice and build confidence through music.

Hello! My name is Noor. I've been involved with music and singing my whole life. I offer singing lessons in pop and rock, and I also have a background in classical singing. I'm currently a composition student at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp and love sharing my passion for music with others.

In my lessons, we focus on building a healthy and reliable vocal technique while discovering the full potential of your voice. Each lesson is adapted to your individual level, goals, and musical interests.

We work on essential aspects of singing such as breathing, posture, vocal support, resonance, and musical expression. I also guide students in exploring repertoire that suits their voice and helps them grow artistically.

The lessons are open to both beginners and more advanced singers. Whether you want to sing for pleasure, develop your technique, or prepare for auditions or exams, I will support and challenge you in a positive and motivating environment.

My goal is not only to help you improve your technique, but also to help you feel more confident and free when you sing.

Hello, my name is Alyssa.
I am a professional singer with over 18 years of experience as the lead vocalist of Postmen.

I have performed on many stages and worked in numerous studio sessions, and music has been part of my life from a very young age. I started singing in church and later in a gospel choir, where I developed a strong foundation in feeling, expression and musicality.

For me, singing has always been something natural and that is exactly what I want to help others discover in themselves. I am passionate about guiding people in finding their own voice. Not just technically, but emotionally and creatively. Many people think singing is only about hitting the right notes, but I believe it’s about connection, confidence and allowing yourself to be heard.

My lessons are always tailored to your level, your goals and your personality. Whether you are just starting out or already have experience, I create a safe and supportive space where you can grow.

We will work on:
Vocal technique and breath control
Confidence and letting go while singing
Finding your unique sound and style
Musical interpretation: understanding what a song needs
Ad-libs, dynamics, falsetto and vocal expression
Stage presence and performance mindset
Voice care and healthy singing habits

My lessons are for:
Beginners who want to start singing in a relaxed way
Intermediate singers who want more control and confidence
Advanced singers or artists who want to refine their sound
Anyone who feels there is “more” in their voice but doesn’t know how to reach it

My coaching style is personal, intuitive and encouraging. I don’t believe in forcing a voice into a certain style.
I want to help you discover what is already inside you and bring that out.
I work with both adults and younger students and I adapt my teaching depending on what you need: structure, creativity, technique or confidence.
I'm looking forward to meeting you!
