I have always loved exchanging and passing on what I have learned. My mother being a German teacher, I have always been immersed in the world of education. I started tutoring when I was in high school, and I still do today.

My journey :
- Mention Very Good at the ES baccalaureate
- Studied Sociology and Political Science at the University of Geneva
- History and Spanish studies at the London School of Economics (LSE), First Class Honours.

I help academically and psychologically students in History-Geography, SES and English. I explain the course in detail (if necessary), and we work on the methodology for each event, the organization and the planning of the work to be done. I can also follow your child in other subjects for the smallest classes.

For example, I worked with two students in great difficulty (general average around 7-8 out of 20), and the latter obtained their baccalaureate, one of them with honors.
I also worked with another student the previous year, who obtained the mention Very Good (with 19/20 in SES).

The class will chart the development of European, American and International art history from 1900 to the present day, beginning with Post-Impressionism and its off-springs Cubism and Expressionism, the move into Abstraction post-war, to Conceptualism and Minimalism of the 1960s and 1970s which still have significant relevance in today's Contemporary art world. The focus will be on the wider political issues that impacted art history of the time, thereby using art history as a novel and unique lens through which we can gauge world history events, and its politics, in a potentially new and interesting light.

Studying History can seem lengthy and boring at first, it's a lot of information and too vast to even memorise! You may often ask yourself, "is there a shortcut I can use to memorise so many dates and information?"
One thing about History is, the more you think it's difficult, the more you lose interest in it!

My classes are designed to tackle this lack of enthusiasm among students, because I've been through that phase making me more susceptible to students' needs and requirements. I begin with describing the meaning, purpose, and approaches to history answering basic questions like what is the need of studying history when we can instead look at the future! I use a step-by-step method to craft my course into a story-like narrative sparking curiosity among young minds.
Be it American, Chinese, Japanese, Indian or European History, or Modern World History, you name it! I am an expert in South Asian History but my interests reach far and wide. The world is an interconnected space and I will make sure that my students understand the basics of history to tackle with contemporary issues more efficiently..and also ace their exams!

Coming from a background of sociological research, I have both qualitative and quantitative methodological study methods that inform my tutoring strategies and increase student's general comprehension of key concepts. Beginning with teaching core principles from assigned textbooks and syllabi (of which I independently review and use to create individual and tailored lesson plans), I also provide students with critical thinking skills, grammar lessons, and essay writing tips to ensure that they reach their academic and intellectual potential. I am presently a master's student at LSE and have six years of tutoring and teaching experience in related disciplines, as well as experience working with students with varied learning and cognitive demands.
