Graduated in musical interpretation of keyboard instruments (piano, clavichord and organ) at the Tartini Conservatory of Trieste. I have a great passion for music from an early age. I have worked as a music teacher since giving private classes to students of all levels, designing a study program adapted to each person with the aim of motivating and inspiring. I have had the opportunity to study in Brussels, Italy and England where I have grown personally and professionally performing concerts in important venues such as the European Parliament and the Bosnian National Gallery of Art. I like to share all my experience with my students and help them reach their full potential as well as develop a passion for the instrument and musical creation.

My guitar lessons are a real experience for those who study with me. What matters most to me is that my student can fulfill his desires with the guitar and music. I do not impose predetermined classes, but I leave the person free to express what he wants to learn. I am helpful in transmitting to you the skills that are right for you. When you enter my studio room it is like stopping time and being able to focus on yourself, on your sensations and on what really makes you happy with the guitar. There will be work to do, but I promise that the journey will be pleasant and the result incredible. You will discover that you are capable of doing great things! About Pierpa: Pierpaolo is a guitarist and composer born in 1995 from central Italy (Le Marche, Recanati). At the age of 12 he picked up a classical guitar for the first time (which he still owns) and since then he has not stopped playing, practicing and inventing with it. He currently lives in Barcelona (Spain) where he mainly teaches rock, jazz and flamenco. In fact, his studies range from jazz (he has 2 degrees in jazz guitar) to flamenco. In Barcelona Pierpaolo attends the ESMUC conservatory. "I am Pierpaolo, a professional guitarist with a Bachelor and Master's degree in Jazz Guitar (110 cum laude) and with experience studying other styles such as blues, rock, pop, funk, latin, fusion, flamenco. Hi, I'm Emma, I'm a musician and guitar player from Paris based in Barcelona. After having studied 2 years at the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam in Jazz Guitar Bachelor, I transferred myself in Barcelona since September 2023. I released my debut album in June 2025 with dutch label Zennez Records, here it is; I am also playing in different music projects going from contemporary Jazz, to pop, brazilian music projects. I'm available to teach electric and acoustic guitar lessons for students with levels from beginners till intermediate level. I'm open to teach all types of music; Jazz, Pop, Rock, Indie music... I love all types of music, and the goal of my lessons is to adapt myself to the need and desire of every students. In my classes we will practice technique, improvisation, composition, repertoire and creativity, among others topics, all of this in a fun and chill atmosphere:)

Analysis tools for western art- and popular music. The course is made for you to learn how to analyze any kind of music with the right tools to approach harmonic, rhythmic or melodic relations in music. Among the main topic we will study basilisks harmonic, rhythmic and melodic analysis, Shenkerean analysis, Schoenberg harmonic conception, Lechenmann ́s perspective of sound, analysis of tonal and non-tonal music.

Lessen ook beschikbaar in het Nederlands! In my classes I always seek to maintain a balance between the development of basic knowledge, composition techniques and creativity. These are the three fundamental pillars that any person dedicated to composition needs. Basic knowledge: Many are afraid of learning "too much" theory, because they believe that it can kill creativity. But what I precisely want to teach in my classes is a practical approach, where theoretical knowledge serves to further develop creativity. Composition techniques: Each class I give small composition tasks, things that can be developed in the time you have available between classes, where we will explore different composition techniques and how they can be applied within the musical language that you want to develop. Creativity: We work here in two ways, the first is on a project you are working on, for example a piece for your own instrument, a project for a competition or entrance exam, a song, etc. The second way is through improvisation exercises on your instrument. We will do this together, since I play violin and piano. With this we are seeing how to give space to musical intuition, to be able to capture ideas and then concretize them in a composition. These three elements are present in each class, which is usually divided into 20-minute sections, so a lesson usually lasts 1 hour.

In our composition lessons, we’ll both learn how to get more from basic elements, like pitch and rhythm, and also the things we can do to help make a composition more poetic. We can work on how to get more music from fewer ideas to create a consistent musical language, and also explore the idea of opposites in your compositions, blending and smearing contrasting elements to add depth and complexity to your work. Through the analysis of great music, the composition of miniatures, and feedback on your current projects, you’ll both increase your technical fluency and simultaneously learn to love and develop your unique voice. Would you classify improvisation as composition or performance? Well actually it is both! When you improvise you are composing music on the spot, performing what you have made up at the same time as you have composed it. For many people improvisation is a scary word and having to improvise in a group or band is an alarming prospect. However, this really does not need to be the case. As long as you have a basic knowledge of how to play your instrument you will be able to improvise. Once you know the principle of how chords are formed you will soon be improvising with ease. The key to success is understanding chords. Once you know how chords are formed and know what notes make up a few chords you will be well on your way towards being able to improvise. We will, therefore, start by ensuring a firm knowledge of certain chords. After this we will progress to improvising a simple melody over the top of these chords. The next stage is to start using notes that are not in the chord. The process is then open ended with emphasis on developing the melody. If you play a keyboard instrument you will be able to improvise your own pieces and be able to entertain your friends at a moments notice. On the other hand if you play in a band or a group you will be well equipped to do a real 'jam' session. Whether you play a single line instrument (flute, saxophone, trumpet, violin etc.) or keyboard instruments, this class is for you.

I started playing guitar in September 1996.I have performed extensively, including tours in a variety of bands, as a rhythm guitarist, lead guitarist, and composer. I have studied with private teachers or on my own, carefully selecting my books and teaching methods.I can teach pop and rock guitar in the broadest sense of the term, whether through pick playing or finger-picking. In addition, I have extensive knowledge of production, mixing, editing, and electronic music, which makes me very knowledgeable about effects pedals for electric guitarists. However, I teach both folk and electric guitar. I have been giving private lessons since 2008, alongside my life as a professional musician.

I am a double bass player based in the city of Leuven. I recently obtained my third master in music in double bass at the LUCA School of Arts – Campus Lemmens. I am currently working as a double bass tutti in the Brussels Philharmonic and i am the bass player of the ensembleDRE. As a double bass player i have played in different amateurs and young Orchestras like NJO, the junge-deutsch franzosische philarmonie and Futurorchestra, and with professional Orchestras like Casco Phil and Ataneres Ensemble. As a teacher i have taught pop music and electric bass in Italy. Through my experiences , concerning different kinds of music, i would like to approach the double bass and/or electric bass to people of any age. At the same time, I can offer clearly structured lessons to students of any age, interested in classical music repertoire but also in other genres as pop and rock.
