My name is Pia. I am a singer, songwriter, actress and voice teacher. I teach singing classes and vocal techniques to speak better in public.

Our voice is a complex instrument that is directly connected to the state of the body and mind, and therefore many different aspects are touched on in vocal work.
But that does not mean that it has to be difficult to educate your voice in different ways!
As in all types of educational process, as long as there is desire and patience, the objectives can be achieved. We will develop the classes according to the particular needs of each student.

We will work on the following aspects in voice training:
- breathing
- relaxation
- body awareness
- warming of the body and mouth
- vocalization
- projection
- tuning
- tessitura extension
- rhythmic perception
- diction in several languages (especially in English, Spanish, German and Scandinavian languages)
- interpretation

More about me:
I am Danish, living in Barcelona since 2001. I studied theater acting at the Victor Hernando Studio Theater and modern music and jazz with singing as a specialty at the Liceo Conservatory. I have a long professional career in the world of music and theater. Since 2008, I combine my artistic career with the profession of voice teacher and as a vocal supervisor in stage work.

Jazz Lessons in Barcelona.
Don't wait anymore and start your new hobby!

If you love music and you feel the inner urge to learn it, I can help you out. I can teach students from all levels to play the piano. From Jazz style to Classical.

After years of studying and practicing, I've concluded that the best way to learn music is by transcribing and singing. Music is like language, so I start by teaching how to connect the voice with the instrument. In a playful way, I will introduce you to harmony, teach you how to read music, compose your own tunes, and improvise. Side by side with theory according to your musical taste and preferences.

I've been learning music since I was 3 years old and recently I've graduated with a Master's Degree at the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam. Previously, I studied at ESMUC (Barcelona), Kunst Uni Graz (Graz), and Temple University (Philadelphia). I've been a professional performer since 5 years ago and I've performed in several countries around the world.

Would you like to play that song you've always loved? Do you have a trumpet at home and want to start playing it? Do you already play, but feel like there are some pieces you still can't quite master?

Whatever your goal, we can work together to achieve it. From learning your first notes to playing jazz standards, film scores, popular music, or classical repertoire. I can also help you prepare for conservatory entrance exams, get started in jazz and improvisation, or refine your technical and performance skills.

My classes are completely personalized and tailored to each individual. We'll work on the technical skills you need to improve your playing, but always through music that inspires you. Because learning an instrument should be a stimulating challenge and a source of enjoyment.

Imagine being able to play along with play-alongs at home, share music with friends, or even surprise someone special by performing a song that has important meaning for you.

Tell me what you'd like to achieve, and together we'll design a path to get there. I'll also share study materials, exercises, and repertoire tailored to your interests and skill level.

Write to me with no obligation. Even if you're not yet sure what your goal is, I'd be happy to guide you and help you discover the next step on your trumpet journey.

The chromatic harmonica is a very expressive and popular instrument in jazz and world music. In my classes, you'll learn how to take your first steps and learn to play this chromatic instrument, which can be played in all keys.

I give classes at home and it is a requirement to have your own harmonica.

I offer in-person lessons for which students must bring their own instrument. For younger students, I supplement instrument instruction with introductory music lessons and music appreciation classes, resulting in a more comprehensive learning experience. I also offer online sessions as long as the student has a basic understanding of playing the instrument. I have flexible scheduling and can travel depending on the location. My goal is for each student to progress with confidence and motivation, developing solid musical skills while enjoying the learning process.
