I also have training as a music therapist for a more therapeutic approach to the voice.

My name is Pia. I am a singer, songwriter, actress and voice teacher. I teach singing classes and vocal techniques to speak better in public.

Our voice is a complex instrument that is directly connected to the state of the body and mind, and therefore many different aspects are touched on in vocal work.
But that does not mean that it has to be difficult to educate your voice in different ways!
As in all types of educational process, as long as there is desire and patience, the objectives can be achieved. We will develop the classes according to the particular needs of each student.

I have a long professional career in the world of music and theater. Since 2008, I combine my artistic career with the profession of voice teacher and as a vocal supervisor in stage work.

I have a Higher Degree in singing. The objective of my classes is for the student to find their own voice and know how to get the best out of it, while being able to sing with maximum comfort and in a healthy way. In my classes I propose to start with breathing exercises and vocalizations to warm up the voice and practice different aspects in isolation. Afterwards, the class focuses on working on a repertoire that motivates the student, that is appropriate for their voice and also helps them improve their abilities.

Depending on what you need and want to work on, we will address the following surubís:
-Vocal technique: anatomy, functioning, breathing, acoustics and resonators. Understanding how the speech apparatus works is essential to be able to work on its sound and expressiveness.
-Conventional singing and improvisation: in addition to singing the songs that you like and/or that you compose yourself, you will learn to listen more deeply and improvise using melodic, harmonic and dynamic tools.
