My name is Vitalie and i was in Moscow. Until the age of 10 i stayed there and then i moved to Romania to continue my studies. I took part in national science competitions and at the age of 15 i got into the Olympics.
I continued to study Physics and Maths mostly by myself and i got enrolled at the Univerity of Bucharest Faculty of Physics for a BSc degree. I graduated four years later and then i decided to continue my master degree in London.
During my early 20s, i got several different jobs, including tutoring kids at home and online in Maths and Physics. I've been gaining experience working with kids that needed help to keep up with the school requirements or just had some more questions and no one was able to help them. I even helped them to prepare for national exams so they can their GCSE and Baccalaureate test done.
I tend to help the student to understand the ideea or the concept first and then move to solving execises or problems. I have always tried to give the student a clear and exact idea of the subject that we were discussing so that he can continue by himself to learn and adapt to new challanges for this school life.

I try to adapt to the children's personality and his requirements so we can develop a plan in order to help him.

role of a math tutor is to provide personalized and effective academic support to students in the field of mathematics. As an experienced and knowledgeable educator, a math tutor serves as a guide, mentor, and teacher to help students develop a strong understanding and proficiency in various mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.

The key responsibilities of a math tutor include:

Individualized Instruction: Understanding each student's unique learning style, strengths, and weaknesses to tailor lessons and exercises accordingly. This personalized approach ensures that the student receives targeted support and gains confidence in their mathematical abilities.

Clarifying Concepts: Identifying areas where the student faces challenges and explaining complex mathematical ideas in a clear and comprehensible manner. The tutor breaks down concepts into simpler components, making it easier for the student to grasp and apply them.

Practice and Reinforcement: Assigning relevant practice problems to reinforce the learning process. Regular practice helps students build their problem-solving skills, reinforces their understanding of concepts, and improves retention.

Progress Assessment: Continuously evaluating the student's progress and identifying areas that require further attention. Regular assessments help the tutor adjust their teaching strategies and address any knowledge gaps promptly.

Homework Assistance: Assisting students with their math-related homework and guiding them through problem-solving techniques. This support encourages self-reliance and ensures that the student can apply what they've learned in their school assignments.

Test Preparation: Preparing students for exams, quizzes, and standardized tests. A math tutor equips the student with test-taking strategies and time management skills to enhance their performance in assessments.

Motivation and Confidence Building: Encouraging and motivating students to develop a positive attitude towards mathematics. Building their confidence is vital in overcoming math-related anxiety and promoting a growth mindset.

Communication with Parents or Guardians: Keeping parents or guardians informed about the student's progress, areas of improvement, and strategies for ongoing support at home. Collaborating with parents enhances the overall learning experience and fosters a supportive learning environment.

Continuous Professional Development: Staying updated with the latest teaching methods, educational technology, and advancements in the field of mathematics to deliver the most effective instruction.
