As scientists admit, music improves language skills, logical thinking, concentration, and has therapeutical effect on us. For me, playing the violin has proved to be that and much more. It has been connecting all the elements of my life - work, dreams of travelling around the world, my social life, my family. They say it is one of the most difficult instruments, but the truth is, it is difficult only if you make it difficult. My aim is to make my students fascinated by it any time they take it in their hands. In my work I concentrate on the needs and interests of the student and work on technique, music knowledge and joy in playing through games, special excercises and my own 27 years of experience in playing the violin.

About Me
I have been playing the violin since I was 5 and it has been, until now, my biggest quest, joy, my work and my life. On daily basis I am a member of Concept Store Quartet, Basel Sinfonietta and Zurich Symphonic Orchestra. I also do many individual interdisciplinary projects (music, dancing, painting, new media and other).
I have always loved teaching and have been doing that for many years. My first experience was in a private music school in Warsaw, later, during my studies in Bern, I taught private students and soon after I received a teaching position and a violin class in the Academy of Arts in Szczecin. I have also been doing many education projects accross the world.
It is a different challenge to work with children and with adults as well as with beginners and advanced musicians. My experience has helped me create my own method which is based on individual needs of my students. They work on techinque through games and multiple excercises, but also through understanding musical gestures and the meaning of what and why they are doing. I help them find the most comfortable and physiological way of playing, which prevents from later pains and muscles tensions and makes playing easy. But most importantly, I try to make the student fascinated with the world of music and use their creativity and imagination to find their own language and joy in playing.
