Learn to play with real groove, technique and confidence - whether you're picking up sticks for the first time or want to take your playing to the next level.

In our lessons we work on technique, rhythm reading, groove in different styles (pop, rock, jazz, latin, odd meters), timing and coordination, repertoire with songs you choose and improvisation. Lessons take place in my studio in Basel, fully equipped with a drum set and recording gear.

I'm Agnese, a professional drummer and composer with a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Drums (Amsterdam) and a Master's degree in Jazz Composition (Rotterdam), plus over 10 years of performing and teaching experience across Italy, the Netherlands and Germany. I love adapting my method to each person - patient but focused, and always aiming to make you want to keep playing after the lesson ends.

About Me

To me, a good lesson is one that leaves you wanting to pick up the sticks again right after. That's what I aim for - keeping curiosity alive, not just working through exercises.

I try to be patient and clear, but also honest when something needs more work. Progress takes a mix of support and a bit of push, and I try to find the right balance for each person.

One of the many ways to discover oneself and one’s attitudes, one’s relationship with emotions, coordination, cultures, history, narratives. I have a diploma of Advanced studies in Audio Design from Hochschule für Musik Basel, and I am an active musician and performer in fields of Electronic and contemporary music.

I'm a long experienced drummer and percussionist, specialised in improvised music, jazz and creative music in general, even though my professional activitity spans from contemporary to pop music.
I have accomplished my Bachelor and Masters study in Italy, and since september 2023 I moved to Basel to do a Specialised Master in composition, performance and improvisation.

With many years of experience in private teaching and two years as associate professor at the Conservatory of Milan, I love to deal with committed, passionate and curious musicians at any point of their musical carreer, weather they might want to study just for fun, passion, or as a way to enter the profesisonal world of music.
I'm available to teach to drummers and percussionist, as well as other instrumentists that may want to deepen their understanding and practicing on rhythm.

My artistic research is about time and space, that find their realisation in colors and rhythms. As I graduated also in Foreign Lenguages and Literatures, I like to have also a linguistic approach to music and to musical genres.
