Hi! I'm a music graduate, currently living in Edinburgh, who is passionate about helping people to learn and explore through music. I have over ten years experience performing, composing and recording on a variety of instruments and have been teaching music and languages for the past three years.

I will tailor my classes to help you achieve your goals as a student, whether you want to work towards your instrumental grades, learn a repertoire of your favourite songs or even learn to write your own. I can produce sheet music for pieces that you wish to learn and give you as broad or as specific tuition as you like.
For example, I am currently working with a student to improve her confidence on both ukulele and as a singer, and have developed a series of classes designed to help her improve these two skills simultaneously.
I have worked with students of all ages and levels in the UK, abroad and online.

About Me

Hi, I'm Kai. An experienced music musician from Derbyshire, I hold a degree in music from the University of Sussex and have been teaching music and languages since graduating in 2017. I began my journey in music playing drums in bands as a teenager, later learning ukulele then guitar to support my growing interest in song writing. I chose to study music performance at college and broadened my knowledge of the field by studying theory, composition and music production.
