Bass - Upright Bass - Production - Harmony and Theory Teacher

Hi,

I'm a french bassist based in London. I'm looking to give courses to people who want to learn bass basics or more advanced stuff, as much as technical skills (like slap) to harmony and theory. Also can give Upright Bass courses.
I can learn several music styles, from jazz standards to pop/rock through hip hop and funk for all levels. I can also play bass synth and a little keyboard and guitar.

I learned music at the Conservatory of Paris in France, starting cello at 5 in classical music, then started bass and upright bass at the jazz department. I have a lot of band experiences, from a small band to big band, played a lot of music styles with them like Latin, fusion, jazz-rock, funk, soul... As many covers as there are compositions. I'm also productor for rappers or singers, producing on Logic Pro X.

So if you're interested to learn in those areas, I can help you whatever your level.
Feel free to contact me if you have questions !

Improvisation for beginners and intermediates (any instrument)
For many people improvisation is a scary word and having to improvise in a group or band is an alarming prospect. However, this really does not need to be the case. As long as you have a basic knowledge of how to play your instrument you will be able to improvise. Once you know the principle of how chords are formed you will soon be improvising with ease. If you play a keyboard instrument you will be able to improvise your own pieces and be able to entertain your friends at a moments notice. On the other hand if you play in a band or a group you will be well equipped to do a real 'jam' session. Whether you play a single line instrument (flute, saxophone, trumpet, violin etc.) or keyboard instruments, this class is for you.

Electric Bass Classes all levels / Musical Theory / Guitar for beginners

My main activity has been as a composer/producer musician with my bands and personal projects, and as a session musician playing with artists ranging from rock, through jazz and Latin music, carrying out my activity as a teacher in parallel. With a methodology oriented towards mentoring, the student raises his concerns and based on that, work is done using a repertoire related to his musical tastes and complementary exercises in technique, improvisation, composition and musical theory. I also give classes to beginning guitarists where we study through a chosen repertoire, basic theory, chords, rhythms and accompaniments. All this in an atmosphere of friendliness and cordiality that makes the student feel comfortable and motivated :)

Jazz/pop/groove/songwriting piano lessons for all levels of skill and all ages by ex-conservatory student!
I've been playing the piano with great passion for 18 years, and over the past 5 years, alongside my studies and music-making endeavors, I've been teaching multiple students ranging from 7 to 50 years old. My expertise lies in truly understanding music theory and composing and improvising music. Having played in many pop and jazz (big) bands and creating daily compositions for solo piano and bands, I've developed an enthusiasm for these genres that I love to impart to my students. In recent years, I've also been heavily involved in music production, and lessons in this direction are also possible! I often use theory as a background to contextualize the songs we practice (which are often chosen by the student themselves). I use these songs to convey improvisation and composition skills. Additionally, I believe it's important for the student to develop their own way of learning. I strive to create a free yet disciplined learning environment.
