In this course, I offer you the opportunity to know the basics of modal music theory, as well as the fundamental techniques of Lute/Oud interpretation.

In this course you will immerse yourself in the world of classical Arabic musical pieces and you will be lucky to play famous pieces on the Lute after 8 sessions!!

This class is perfect for your children who want to learn the basics of Western singing and work on the voice. I start my class with breathing techniques and vocalization which is essential as a process to determine the timbre of the voice, control the regularity, the quality of the sound emission and thus warm up the voice. Then, depending on your child's preference, I will either suggest a song and he chooses to work on it or not, or he chooses a song he would like to work on and I teach him all the techniques to get there.

Learning the sequence of Arabic classical improvisation called “Mawwal”.
