I offer in person and online lessons in violin and viola. I am based in Neukölln, Berlin. I have taught violin and viola in the UK for leading national organisations including Opera North, In harmony and Orchestras for All. I have over 10 years of private and school based teaching experience and have taught students from aged 4 to adults. I also ran an outreach music and arts project in the UK delivering music and art workshops in schools and art galleries as well as online, the project was recognised with two national awards from Deutsche Bank and UnLtd. I have led and conducted school string ensembles and set up beginner string programs for Harrogate Music School, Cardiff Young Strings and The Strings Club, Birmingham. My teaching style incorporates aspects of Dalcroze and Kodaly methodology as well as improvisation and collaborative composition. I develop a bespoke approach alongside each student to ensure they are able to get the most out of their lessons and make lessons enjoyable. My lessons focus on developing technique and skills required to play music the student has chosen and I incorporate play and games into lessons to enable the most effective learning. I work mostly in classical, improvisation and new music contexts but can provide lessons in all genres. Lessons are in English. Regular, irregular and one-off lessons are possible. I teach from beginner-advanced.

I'm a french professional violinist established in Berlin, I'm currently member of the academy of the Radio Orchestra in Berlin and graduated from the Universität der Künste Berlin, Hight school of Music Geneva and Lyon I give violin lessons at home, for students of all levels and ages. I teach for the Enjoyment of Music as well. I believe you can learn to play the piano at any age. My oldest student is over 75 years old and my youngest one has 3 years old. They made great progress, I am sure you could do the same. I've never met anyone who didn't have musical abilities! You can be a serious or a recreational player. The only requirement is the willingness to spend some time at the piano. I conduct my lessons using a combination of 4 cameras for optimum visibility, and a quality microphone which my students find very helpful. This allows them to see a very clear visual demonstration alongside my verbal explanation. I can confidently say that Online Lessons are the same as In-Person Lessons. CURRICULUM I do not believe one method works for all students. I have used many different lesson books and resources over the years. For beginners I like to use Alfred method books for basics concepts and for Classical and Jazz Piano technique I like to use ABRSM books (grade 1-8). If my student feels that they can learn better from another books, I am glad to adapt my teaching strategies to their needs. Along with the lesson books below, I use a lot of supplemental materials based on the students' interests. I also aim to teach their favorite songs as soon as possible. I like to clearly explain and demonstrate piano technique. In this way, the students are able to apply the information on similar passages from all genres of music.
