Practice leads to perfection

Unless you learned to speak French when you were a child, it is difficult when you don't speak it fluently to pass for a French speaker. However, this does not prevent you from learning to speak it correctly, because it is well known that a language spoken with a foreign accent is an asset of seduction! Although it may seem complicated, learning a new language is always fun and beneficial, so it is important to practice as much as possible and above all not to give up. Take every opportunity you are given to speak the language and listen to French as soon as possible. And remember: practice leads to perfection!

Dear student,

I am a chemist graduated from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology). I have always been fascinated by science and now I hold a doctorate in solid-state physics from the University of Geneva.

Science subjects can help you pass exams. I have been teaching these disciplines for many years during exercise sessions held at the University as well as in private lessons given as an independent.

For this reason, you will have the possibility to ask me for explanations on any subject. It is indeed useful that you can progress on the basis of what you already know. You will of course have the choice to ask me for remedial lessons to revise or discover entire chapters. Before the first lesson starts, I will invite you to explain your situation to me freely and free of charge so that we can work effectively from the first lesson.

All scientific subjects have in common a method that is called "scientific logic". Whenever the opportunity arises, I will offer you elements of this method because it is this method that will allow you to understand durably and to solve the exercises rigorously.

Your studies are serious business, demand that you be taken seriously.

Best regards,
Julien

[Answer within the hour]. I offer math and physics lessons for all types of levels, from cycle to university.

I consider that each student is different and therefore the course of the courses may vary.

But in general, I like to review the course given by the professor, and if this one does not seem sufficient to you, I bring with me a summary of the subject. In order to discuss the theory, see if the concepts are well assimilated, because it is fundamental before doing exercises so as not to get mixed up.
I try to bring the maximum of visual representations, I personally find that we remember and understand better when we visualize what we do.

Then a lot of exercises.
Maths and physics are subjects in which it is essential to practice as much as possible in order to see "all" the scenarios and develop techniques. In the same way, we can review the exercises given in class and / or I can complete with other exercise sheets to correct.

Hello !

I offer French lessons in the form of individualized support adapted to your learning project, based on a bond of trust and kindness, so that everyone can learn serenely.

I like to teach by emphasizing lively and interactive sessions (in the form of interactions, video or film extracts, reading, etc.) which makes learning less boring!

The idea is first of all to (re)gain confidence and to find together the right method(s) of learning and memorization for everyone, because it is sometimes hard to find your way around. in the intense rhythm of school/professional life!

Whether you need support, to consolidate particular subjects, to start from "zero" or need to perfect your practice, do not hesitate to write to me so that we can develop the follow-up that would suit you best!

Nice to meet you !

The aim of the course is to help you overcome your weaknesses in spelling, grammar and conjugation.
I will guide you in acquiring knowledge and help you apply the rules in your writing.
We therefore do practical exercises associated with the course to help you put what you have learned into practice.
This course is not an illiteracy course that would require enhanced support.

As a Master's student in Physics at the University of Geneva (with a Bachelor's degree in Physics), I offer tutoring in mathematics and physics for all levels (middle school, high school, and vocational/high school diploma programs). My goal is to make these subjects clear and accessible by demystifying theoretical concepts through concrete explanations and a rigorous methodology. I offer personalized support: review of concepts poorly understood in class; targeted preparation for tests and exams; practical exercises and tips to gain autonomy and confidence; regular follow-up and organizational advice. Lessons take place in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.

My lessons begin by identifying the student's difficulties and the concepts they wish to work on. Then, we review the theory together, with simple explanations and concrete examples, before moving on to exercises and homework. I adapt to each student's pace to foster understanding and self-confidence in a relaxed, encouraging, and pressure-free environment.
