I have 23 years of experience as a guitarist and 18 of them have been as a guitar tutor (beginner, intermediate and advance). I can teach you at my private studio or at yours. In 2018, I taught Brit Award-Winners Bastille how to play the traditional Argentinian rhythms BIOGRAPHY: Juan was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the age of nine he started teaching himself how to play guitar, bass, keyboards and drums; before joining local bands and performing around the country. After studying sound engineering at the Universidad Nacional de Lanús, he worked as a live sound engineer and separately on a number of music productions in his home studio. He also trained as a luthier/guitar technician, building and repairing stringed instruments alongside his father, using his surname as a brand. In 2014 Juan moved to London to develop his skills and connections. His passion and commitment to music led him to working at guitar repair workshops around the capital city, including Camden Town and the well-known Denmark Street. He repaired guitars for artists like the legendary Jarvis Cocker (Pulp), Mercury Prize-winner Michael Kiwanuka, Grammy-winners Mumford & Sons, and King Krule. He later taught Brit Award-winners Bastille how to play the traditional rhythms of his home country. In 2017, Juan started composing a wide range of music genres for all kinds of audio-visual media productions, including advertising campaigns for: Samsung, Coca-Cola, MasterCard, Nesquik, Avon and Breil At the same time, he played with a host of different bands as a guitarist, and busked around town. Juan was hired to work as a guitar technician at Abbey Road on live recording sessions. During this period spent in the studio, mastering engineer Wharton spotted Juan’s potential and encouraged him to focus more of his attention on writing, releasing and performing his own material Extra information: I can provide an electric, acoustic or classical guitar.

I offer classes for beginners of guitar, bass, piano, drums, music theory, and music production. My aim with these classes is to give the freedom of expression through the instrument and the knowledge of music to the student as soon as possible enough to be able to jam comfortably with friends at first and add the most complicated subjects once established confidence and passion, I often use music and philosophy to explain each other during lessons cause I'm really passionate about both and I personally often used music rules to compared to real-life to understand the way they both works. I have a studio where I can give my lessons, especially for drummers and a piano at home if you don't have one. If the student has the instrument and a place where to have lessons I'm also up to come to that place to let the student be in its comfortable environment.

I have been performing since 2016, in folk, pop and jazz ensembles around Italy and now I am continuing my music studies in Valencia, at the Berklee College of Music. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example.
