11 Plus Tutoring for students who will be taking the 11 Plus in the Autumn, specialising in both test papers. My goal is to help students feel more confident with their test taking abilities in preparation for the exams as well as ensuring they are comfortable with the information that is covered within the papers, giving them the best chance at achieving the pass mark.

My teaching method is allowing the student to take practice tests in order to assess their strengths and weaknesses, focussing on the areas they struggle with whilst maintaining their strengths in order to improve their marks.

This class is for anyone wanting help preparing for 11+ exams. I will comprehensively cover verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, Maths and English or any combination of the above. Depending on what the student needs I will set homework but you can also expect to be doing practice questions during the session.

I am a tutor of 3 years in teaching 11+, gcse science, gcse maths and economics for both gcse and a level economics. I have a great bank of knowledge and resources to facilitate in these subject areas and having A*’s across the gcse and a level subjects I teach bares testimony to this

At GCSE, I scored 9 in mathematics and an A in additional mathematics. I am current taking standard mathematics in the International Baccalaureate which I am currently predicted to score an 7. I feel confident and competent to support any young person with their mathematical journey. Based on the fact that I currently support my classmates in IB course with their mathematics inquiries and students studying higher tier students at IB.

Before starting each class I will assess on the students knowledge of maths and see the level they are in through a small knowledge test, this allows me to plan out what is needed to improve for each student and how it will be achieved.
