My name is Olga and I am an experienced and enthusiastic violin teacher. I have completed Undergraduate studies at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire which included 2 years of pedagogy classes.
I have over 4 years of teaching experience in one to one violin classes as well as group teaching. I worked with my students towards grade exams and various performances.

Originally from Poland. I have studied at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire
in UK and graduated with distinction. Currently completing my non degree course at Liszt Academy. During my studies I have performed at Wigmore Hall, Windsor Castle and Symphony Hall in Birmingham.
I have over 5 years of teaching experience. I teach privately and for music institution with the latest position as a visiting tutor at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Junior Department.I am open to teach students at any level. Hello!

I am a musician offering tutorials in piano, trumpet, cornet, harmony, counterpoint, theory, and other general music-y things in English! I’m also available to direct rehearsals and concerts.

A continuation of music theory, students will and learn to write chorales in the style of J.S. Bach, before moving on to fugues and looking at the ways in which other composers have used harmony. I also have knowledge of jazz harmony and am able to discuss this with students if they wish.

Please contact me to chat about your/ your child’s musical goals and ambitions and to arrange a lesson. I am able to travel to homes and offices and have a flexible schedule to meet your needs! I have also taught over Skype in the past, where there’s the option of screen sharing, making it possible to demonstrate things on the screen.

My name's Dave and I've been a full-time professional musician for the past 15 years. I work predominantly as a performing and recording session musician and also as a private guitar tutor. I'm sure it will come as no surprise when I say that I absolutely love the guitar. My biggest goal in teaching guitar is to share with you my passion for this instrument and to help you gain as much enjoyment from it as I have for most of my life. I have been teaching students of all ages and abilities for the past ten years. I began my teaching practice while pursuing a Bachelor of Music Performance at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, Dublin, inheriting students from my father (also a violin teacher) and later teaching the younger students of my violin professor. Following my studies in Ireland, I moved to the United Kingdom, where I obtained a Master of Music Performance from the Royal College of Music, London and an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, both with distinction. During my studies, I taught extensively across the London and Birmingham areas, both in person and online, taking one to one lessons and group ensembles. In my teaching, I follow the ABRSM grade system alongside a vast selection of relevant study books and pieces/sonati/concerti, individually tailored to the needs and requirements of each student, allowing an enjoyable, rewarding and worthwhile musical experience.

As I work full time with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, teaching spaces are limited and a certain level of flexibility in scheduling may be required at times due to the changing nature of the orchestra's weekly timetable and touring schedule.
