A freelance music and dance artist / performer by trade, I've delivered private lessons from my home in East London for the past 9 years, preparing happy students for auditions and exams amongst others.

On top of my practical experience and personal research, I have trained with renowned teachers and vocal coaches such as Line Hilton (BAST), Mark De Lisser, Laurent Versini, Andrea Ainsworth...
With extensive experience as a busker, singer-songwriter and function singer as well as having sung with choirs such as London Contemporary Voices, ACM Gospel Choir, Some Voices, TGGG, Singology etc, my main singing styles are pop, soul, gospel and reggae.
I also use my background in movement and somatics to help prepare the body for the best singing performances.

I am a freelance opera, platform and choral singer (Roles include Tamino [magic flute] Nemorino [l'elisir d'amor] and Don Ottavio [Don Giovanni] alongside many world premiers). I have just completed my music degree where I specialised in contemporary classical singing and opera. I have experience singing jazz, pop and musical theatre and have completed one year on a Vocal Studies course at a Music Conservatoire. I have Grade VIII in Violin and Classical Voice, Grade VI in piano and Pop and Jazz Vocals and recently achieved a 1st for my final degree recital and composition. I am a professional operatic tenor and a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where I completed my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, and continue to perform regularly throughout the country and internationally. I now have 20 years of performing and teaching experience, and specialise in teaching vocal technique and refining tone quality.

I encourage my students to develop healthy singing habits, while combining this with language coaching, interpretation and performance skills. I also work regularly with singers for audition preparation, industry professionals and also in vocal rehabilitation.

Learning to sing is the same as any other skill, and everyone is capable of singing well. Singing is unique to each person and I always adapt my lessons accordingly.
