About Me

Hello there! I'm a Master's student who has just arrived in Bordeaux. I'm 21 years old, and I'm studying Neuroscience to become a researcher.
My mother is Irish and my dad is French, I lived in Ireland for 6 years I miss it a lot but at least I go back there often!

I am currently in my preparation year for the French teaching competitions (Capes and Agrégation en Lettres modernes). I have just completed my master's degree in comparative literature at the Sorbonne University (Paris IV), where my subject was “Contemporary rewritings of the myth of Persephone”. I have also validated a DESS in Teaching French as a second language (FLE).

I have been giving private lessons for four years now, allowing me to gain experience day by day. I have also given FLE lessons to students and adults as part of two language services (CREIPAC and Groupe LDL).
I give Grammar, English and French lessons to those needing academic support in these subjects.
Concerning my course in English, I completed a Preparatory Class for Grandes Ecoles (hypokhâgne/khâgne) which allowed me to acquire a C1 level in English. I can therefore teach the basics of language in production, expression and comprehension.
