I assist students in becoming more critical in analysing texts and becoming better writers both creative writing and academic writing. I am experienced in supporting students who are EAL and have taught both EAL and ESL students of different ages. Further, as an experienced writer I have supported and tutored other writers in their writing. English can be a subject many find hard while at school. My aim as a private tutor is to get my students to learn to like English as well as improve their grades.
I teach a range of ages and levels. One hour or more depending on how the student feels. After an initial test a solid plan will be made for the student so that the outcomes of the course are outlined from the start. Every 6 weeks a progress test will be given so that we can mionitor the progress being made and allow for more challenging opportunities.
