About Me
My previous professional experience working as a tutor was a delightful experience as I taught a child for one year, through hard work and determination which they passed their GCSE mathematics. I specialise in Health sciences, I worked up from A level sciences, achieving, a Grade A to a Science degree. I believe through hard continuous effort will result in a specific outcome depending on their ability to achieving their grade. Not only is grades are paramount to a child, but, also their development of their personality. This is another factor I take into consideration of expressing their own personality, and guiding them by series of support to their learning.
Education
I am currently in Y3 in studying Health Sciences at Manchester University. I have two years left to complete my specific degree to become a leading health practitioner.

I am a Masters graduate in Public Administration at the University of Leiden and have a Bachelors Degree in Economics from University of Leeds, UK. While taking a year out after my first degree at the University of Leeds in the UK, I decided to unleash my teaching potential thereby making an impact in the lives of selected year 11 students in my neighbourhood struggling with core subjects such as Maths, English among other subjects.

This was an enjoyable experience and I am glad I am able to put smiles on their faces and add to the knowledge of my students. I look forward to working with students within my territory regardless of their knowledge levels in the subjects I teach hoping that I would be able to make the same impact on them as well.

As a final year Mathematics BSc student, I have seen a fair few maths exams in my time, and would like to show other students just how easy it can be to get a good grade on them!

During this time of crisis, I am aware that many students will be suffering due to the loss of face-to-face contact with their teachers. If you or your child is in year 11 or 13, and needs to keep their knowledge levels high having had their exams cancelled, or year 10 or 12 and is missing out on vital tuition for their exams next year, then let me help!

I will assess the child and then cover the appropriate Math topics. I will use the national curriculum and the test papers which are used widely throughout schools to guide my teaching. This is so I can firstly fill any gaps in their knowledge and then I will extend that knowledge through a range of mediums. I like to use pictorial and abstract examples so all types of learners are catered for. I can also provide additional material for children to complete in their own time to consolidate the learning from my lesson. I specialise in subjects requiring calculations and critical thinking. My goal is to make learning interesting and desirable for students who are willing to learn and to others who are willing to put in the effort to achieve their desired goals. I give my students the space to come to conclusions and come up with their methods of approach towards problems which give them room to understand and think critically. I give enough worksheets to solve after each lecture to aid understanding.

Math certificates are becoming more and more important at different levels of education. For several universities, math certificates such as SAT or GMAT are compulsory tests students must have. To get good scores on these tests, it is advised for students to approach them as soon as possible.
Math is not only about the formulas but also the stories of mathematicians and how they generated their ideas as well as its application. Learning math is one of the best ways to develop logical thinking which enhances problem-solving skills for students.
In Vietnam, I was trained to be a professional math teacher. With 2 years of experience being a teacher and a tutor, I had opportunities to work with students of different ages (9 to 18) and different levels (mental math, IB, IGCSE, A-level, SAT, SSAT). This makes me believe that I can bring the greatest value to students in the UK.
I offer classes for different levels: IGCSE, A-Level, IB, GMAT, SSAT, SAT, and math for college students (algebra, calculus, geometry).

My teaching style includes;
Student-Centred Approach - You’re not just a number in a seat. I shape my teaching around your goals, your pace, and your strengths. Whether you're a visual learner, a hands-on doer, or someone who thrives on discussion, I’ll adapt to help you thrive.

Active Learning All the Way - Expect to participate, problem-solve, and collaborate. From real-world scenarios to group challenges, I believe the best learning happens when you’re actively engaged — not just passively listening.

Open Communication - Got questions? Ask away. Confused? Let’s break it down. I aim to create an environment where no one’s afraid to speak up, and feedback flows both ways. We learn with each other, not just from each other.

Real-World Relevance - Whether we're diving into theory or practice, I’ll always connect it back to the real world — careers, current events, and everyday life. My goal is to make sure you walk away thinking, “This actually matters.”

A Positive Vibe - Learning should be fun — yes, even math can have their moments. I bring energy, humour, and empathy into my teaching so you feel motivated and supported every step of the way.
