I'm an Italian native speaker currently living and studying in the Netherland, I'm really fascinated by other cultures and languages and for this very reason I'll be glad to share my own with others interested in it.
During this course guide you through the essential communication skills while integrating the main aspect with the culture.
The classes will be divided in a phase of interaction-based learning and a practical moment that will focus on the concrete application of the acquired knowledge. I'll provide learning material and reliable sources to practice in your free time
You will not only learn about grammar and formal aspects of the language, but also get acquainted with the context in which phrases are used in daily life.

My name is Cathrine. I have completed my IB diploma at Birkerød Gymnasium. I am currently pursuing my degree in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence at Tilburg University in the Netherlands.

I am originally from Malaysia but I have been living in Denmark for the past 5 years. However, English is my first language.

I am fluent in speaking, reading, and writing the language. Therefore, during the lesson, I will incorporate tasks and activities involving these 3 aspects. We will also go through basic grammar rules that will be useful for both writing and daily conversations.

I will provide printed worksheets and assignments (included in the fees of the lesson) to be done during the lesson and also as homework. Workbooks may be provided at an additional cost which you can work with on your own at home after the lesson. This is of course highly recommended for your own benefit as practice makes perfect.

In the first meeting, we will discuss further on the preference of workload and what you would like to learn.

The Italian language is complex but interesting to learn. So is Portuguese (Brazilian and European).

I am available for teaching to any prospective student, at any level, considering I am a native speaker of both idioms, as well as of the English language. My classes are offered in English and I have quite a flexible schedule.
