Music theory and / or Flute for children

Student at the Royal Conservatory of Mons, I offer cello lessons for beginners and intermediate level. My classes are aimed at anyone who wants to start learning this art, or for children who are curious and interested in this art. I find great pleasure in transmitting my passion, which is music, while making people discover that we can appreciate the rigor and seriousness that we must apply to it.

Our teacher using, if necessary, an electro-acoustic guitar to better accompany your voice and guide some of its subtleties, the teaching philosophy is adapted to each level, according to the pace of work and motivation. Program : - musical techniques: theory (examples: support, modes, colors, effects such as vibrato, etc.) automatically followed, for each of the exercises, by practice (examples: exercises focusing on accuracy, sound production, "mountains Russian ", time, note hold, diction, vowels etc.) - work on breathing and breathing management - body awareness - stability - resonance - improvisation / free expression - improved vocal comfort - varied repertoire (adapting to your preference) - well-being by the vibration of the voice - personal or artistic development - accuracy, note keeping and precision - vocal modes including timbre - volumes: softness and power - sound colors: from dark to light - vocal effects, range requirements - nuances: volumes, mimics, attitudes, sound quality - exploration of musical styles (folk, pop, classical, blues, rock, song, World music ...) - improvisation, effects and vocal games, harmonies -interpretation: work on emotions, body language, stage presence. Objective: acquire a solid vocal technique allowing you to sing with accuracy, ease and expressiveness. Musical learning meanwhile, will develop your ability to listen and reproduce music, your sense of rhythm, your expressiveness, your creativity and musicality as well as reading sheet music. The work is focused on multidisciplinarity: voice, vocal health, music and bodily expressiveness, with an emphasis on the acquisition of an optimal vocal placement, on stress management in public and on interpretation. This progressive and tailor-made method aims to develop your voice: -Breathing techniques -Vocalises and technical exercises adapted to needs; - Repertoire work - Accompaniment for studio recording and scenic performance -dynamic exploration, diversification and release of one's voice while having fun and going beyond one's limits. As other people do regularly, you can also please your loved ones by offering gift vouchers, available all year round. TEACHER / TRAINER Trained in Grandes Ecoles in France and the United States (Ivy League University), our teacher has specialized and has been working for more than 15 years, in North America and Europe, in the field, in international establishments renowned, and oriented on one axis: effective training with pedagogy and meticulous methodology as the watchwords. These sessions also seem to be perfectly unanimous since they have the advantages of direct (example: quality of the interaction), without its disadvantages (ex: loss of travel time), with additional advantages (ex: of notes on the chat, which can be reread afterwards). As a professional pianist with a passion for teaching, I have been teaching piano and music theory for 10 years now, at conservatories, music schools, and private lessons. I hold a performance license from the Rouen Conservatory and a master's degree in teaching from the Institut Supérieur de Musique et de Pédagogie de Namur. I adapt to each student's profile so that they can flourish musically!

Are you a beginner?? No worries: no experience is required! 😁 I can teach you the basics to produce sounds with your saxophone: position of the embouchure (teeth, tongue, lips and vocal cords' position, an element often forgotten), fingerings, use of diafragma,... After the first two lessons spent on the mouthpiece and neck for the sound production, we will immediately start to play some super easy duos together to practice your capacity of listening, pay attention to the other, ear training as well. I normally use the book of Peter Wastall (titled Learn as you play) as support, but it is not mandatory. There are plenty of good books btw! Are you an intermediate / advanced student?? I am sure you can still improve in all the basics, but on a different level. I'll teach you the importance of the "voicing" (technique named by the american saxophonist and pedagogue Donald Sinta) to improve your sound production and projection as well as the capacity of correcting and improving the intonation. You can learn all about phrasing and music interpretation, from tonal music until contemporary atonal compositions. And still, you can improve your playing together, practicing in duo on different aspects like tuning, balance, interpretation, performance etc. Book a lesson and try! I have two Bachelor's degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid and currently at the Koninklijke Conservatorium Brussels. I have a Master's degree with Olsi Leka, premier cellist of the Belgian National Orchestra. My courses are in Spanish, in Anglais et in french.

Violinist from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and the IMEP of Namur, I give violin lessons at all levels, all ages, from 5 years old for children. With several years of experience in teaching the violin, my lessons are for everyone, whatever your desires. I adapt my method according to the wish as well as the age of the student, and starting an instrument as an adult should not be a brake. Graduated in Musicology from La Sorbonne as well as from the ULB, I also offer support courses in Musical Training, History of Music and Analysis. An instrument lesson usually lasts one hour. If necessary, I can cut the time between Violin and Musical Training / History. My rates are 29/hour at my home (Schaerbeek), 35 if I travel.

Graduated with a Master's degree in clarinet from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, a Didactic Master's degree in clarinet and a didactic master's degree in musical training at the Royal Conservatory of Mons, I propose to give you lessons at all levels of clarinet and/or musical training. I also offer piano lessons to beginner students. I am available every day and move to your home at your convenience. Depending on the level and age of the students, the duration of my classes vary between 30 minutes, 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes.

Marcello' Conservatory in Venice and at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels with Barthold Kuijken and Frank Theuns in the Baroque flute. I hold a master degree in Philosophy and Musicology as well. I hold a PhD degree in music performance at Cardiff University, School of Music. From 2013 till 2015, I have been teaching at the Venice Conservatory "B. Marcello", giving yearly lectures and seminaries on the historical repertoire for the flute. Since 2021, I have been appointed music curator of Coudenberg Sound Box Fest, a music festival which aims at celebrating the Belgian music heritage and takes place every year at the beautiful archeological site of the former Royal Palace of Brussels. I recorded for Warner Classics & Erato, and a soloist for Arcana/Outhere Music ('La solitude à deux. Solos and duets by G. P. Telemann' in 2018 and 'Affect is no Crime. New music for old instruments' in 2019). I am a professional flutist with over 5 years of experience in teaching. I have worked with people aged 5 to 75 and taught in five different languages: English, German, Ukrainian, Polish, and French. I hold a pedagogical qualification from the Academy of Music in Krakow, where I obtained a Master's degree with distinction in flute performance. Recently, I graduated from the Conservatoire Royal de Liège, where I earned a specialized Master's degree in flute. With my help, my students have become first prize winners in competitions like the renowned "Jugend musiziert" in Germany. They have also prepared for playing in youth orchestras such as Das Bayerische Landesjugendorchester or worked on repertoire for different kinds of concerts. As a teacher, I am very flexible and always strive to adapt to the needs of my students. I am passionate about the flute and music in general, and I greatly enjoy sharing my knowledge with others.

Graduated in France for a classical training, I offer courses of flutes (from piccolo to octobasse via bass and viola!). The content of the courses will be adapted to the needs of each one. I practice improvisation for quite a few years, the Brazilian music (choro) is one of my specialties. I also play in the French Flutes Orchestra, and I share with pleasure my practices and sound research such as multiphonic, flute and voice, circular breathing, whistle tones and other flatterzung! Music theory will be taught naturally if necessary. I can give lessons in French, Portuguese (Brazil), English.

I am an enthusiastic professional violinist and teacher. I can teach you classical violin, folk songs from Greece and Middle East, as well as your favourite pop tunes and tunes of almost any other music genre! Being well classically trained, I can help you build a solid violin technique and prepare you for giving your best during important music occasions such as exams, auditions, concerts etc. Also, being member of pop - oriental bands with concerts around Belgium, France and Greece, having played with several classical and contemporary music ensembles and orchestras, as well as coming from a family of musicians, my lessons are ideal for students who want to learn to be at ease when they eventually make music with others. :) All pieces can be taught either by ear, music scores or BOTH!! Teaching you basic and/or more advanced music theory to facilitate your violin learning if you don't know yet how to read and write music, can be easily done! My personal experience with music psychology and body movement techniques for musicians have enriched my knowledge and teaching skills. Extra attention is given during the lessons to not only help you build a strong and steadfast technique and develop your music ear, but also to acquire a confident presence and attitude for when you play for others! All is being done with gentle care towards your body's physiology and feelings, and consideration of your learning style. :)) Finally, I'm at your disposal in between the lessons, answering to any questions you might have and offering you support and guidance with your new insights! :D

Always wanted to play the violin, but it never happened? Years of your violin not touched and now the will to pick it up again? You are never too old to learn it or to pick it up again! I am a violinist from Hungary - I have completed my Masters Degree in Teaching at the University of Debrecen, and in the meantime I have given violin lessons in various music schools in Hungary. I have played actively in various professional orchestras. From this year I started the Artistic Master's program at the Lemmens Institute. Since my first year at the university I teach private lessons, I have experience with both children and adults.
