French lessons for foreigners and French speakers at home and / or by webcam

From 25 £ /h

My method of course depends on the expectations of each person: it can be based rather on grammar, essay exercises or on oral learning of the language. I offer courses that adapt both to the needs of the student but also through documents such as texts to download, video links, etc.
For university students, I can assist you in writing your thesis (often neglected by thesis directors) or help you in very specific areas. In any case, I remain very flexible as to the expectations of each student. My program is above all personalized according to your needs!

After obtaining my Master in Communication, I followed a training to become a teacher of French as a foreign language.
Through games, conversations and grammar exercises, I teach my students to speak and write French while trying to meet their expectations.

I am a qualified French teacher. I am experienced and comfortable with both kids and adults, all levels included.

I teach French as a foreign language (experience of tutoring for expats) and I also work with French-speaking students who need help at school or to improve their basics (years of teaching in the secondary education.)

Depending on what you want to achieve, we will work on improving your conversation skills, grammar, vocabulary or pronunciation. I work with up-to-date certified textbooks as well as comics, newspapers, movies ...
I always adapt my teaching strategies to specific needs.

If you're a complete beginner I can guarantee that after your first lesson you will be able to say a few words about yourself in French!

Feel free to contact me so we can figure out how I could help you :)

Great patience, pedagogy and easy contact. Experiences of animation and school support (private lessons) and in public and private education.

I offer this support to people of foreign origin who wish to learn or maintain their French as students and students with academic difficulties.

French is not only a language, it's also a culture :)

I sincerely believe you cannot really master a language if you don't take a deep dive into what makes it unique and living, and by that I mean undergoing so many transformations as we speak it everyday. I am as much interested in sharing this culture and this language that I love so much, as I am in learning from you and what you can teach me. If we do that in French (but English can help as a support, I will help you translate what you mean in French), then I believe spectacular progress is to be expected !

After obtaining my Master degree in applied communication, specialization in advertising and commercial communication at IHECS (2016), I worked two years in communication (fields: culture, e-learning and literature) and I then spent Aggregation of Higher Secondary Education in Information and Communication while working as an extra-curricular facilitator for kindergarten and primary school students (2018-2019). I gave classes in Media Education, Social Sciences, French and History-Geography in various schools in Brussels.

I was an animator at the Patro for 9 years and trainer animators for 5 years. I am very enthusiastic and ready to go further to help others. I observe students to adapt my teaching method to their needs and I do extensive research, both on the subject and methods of learning to answer all their questions.

We work on all skills (comprehension and oral/written expression) through varied and engaging activities.

A focus can be placed on:

- Pronunciation and phonetics (accent reduction, oral fluency, oral confidence)

- Exam preparation (DELF/DALF, FIDE, IB, etc.)

All of this takes place in a supportive and motivating environment.
I make it a point of honor to create a trusting environment where you feel comfortable progressing.

I aim my lesson at Dutch speakers who want to learn French, who have difficulties with it at school, or who simply want to refine their conversation skills.
French is my native language, and I have studied Latin and Greek, which gave me a deeper understanding of French grammar and language.
