About Me

I started teaching almost by chance when I was 18 years old, during the summer holidays that preceded my entry to university. A friend had to catch up with BAC and I offered to help her to revise the subjects in which she was having difficulty. I had a lot of fun helping her and seeing how quickly she was progressing when she took the time to explain things calmly, kindly, without putting her faith in herself.

I like to transmit my knowledge, take the time to know my students, their "psychology" and help them overcome their blockages, whatever they are. I love the human exchange that results from it and take great pleasure in seeing them evolve, gain self-confidence and build their self-esteem.

If I happen to give classes in groups, in which the benevolence and the solidarity are put in order to ensure an effective, fulfilling and playful work for each of you, I particularly appreciate the private lessons, which allow me to build relationships of trust with my students and create a personalized program, fully adapted to their needs.

I share my time between teaching (via different organizations), translation, proofreading, writing and drama. I also organize writing workshops, personal development and gives theater lessons (preparation for competitions / auditions in French, English and German, improvisation course to work on the concept of self-confidence, on diction, speaking in the professional world).

I like to travel, discover new cultures, ways of thinking that are foreign to me and passionate about art, psychology and sociology.

The other alternative would be to download and print before the start of the course a copy of the Goethe Institute exam available on the institute's website.

For the oral comprehension:

Work from audio-visual viewings downloaded from the Deutsche Welle site, which offer various recordings adapted to all levels, with a very concrete approach. In the long term, the student acquires ease not only in oral comprehension, but also enriches his basic vocabulary through exercises. I also work on the Goethe Institut oral tests to familiarize myself with speaking.

For the work of the written expression:

I begin by explaining in the first lesson some methodological tools to acquire writing skills. The student has the opportunity to start writing during the course or do a writing exercise on duty and give it to me to correct (send by email or at the beginning of the next lesson).
