A graduate of the Conservatory with 10 years of teaching experience offers MUSIC Lessons - SPECIALTY FLUTE.

From 41 £ /h

I take care of my students. I like to think of teachers as, in some way, caregivers. My experience giving flute lessons has taught me that often, problems are created by our own minds, and that it is easy to trick our brains into rebooting us, following the right advice from the right person.

So if you want:

* more self-control;
* know you better;
* understand and quickly resolve your problems in order to progress;

We are the right person for each other.

See you soon,
Simona

Composer and experienced piano teacher David is offering piano lessons for all ages, - particularly interested in new adult students. Complete beginners through to advanced. With over 12 years teaching experience, David's lessons can be tailored to all objectives – with a focus on imparting an understanding of music as a deep language, and on developing a sensitive and powerful technique. In addition to classical piano and, music theory, David can also help you explore simple approaches to begin composing if you with to explore your creative talents. Alternatively, lessons can be approached as therapy (in a non formal sense) and leisure. The focus is classical music and classical methods but we will dive into other styles occasionally if you would like.

Majority of sheet music included in the class price.
Lessons take place at my place in Ixelles. I may also be able to come to your place depending on location. A very small amount of online students can be accepted to help with accessibility or other reasons.

David is represented an Associate Composer of the Australian Music Centre, now working in Brussels. He holds a Bachelor of Creative Arts from the University of Melbourne, performance Diplomas (pianoforte) from the Asssociated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in the UK and AMEB in Australia, and recently graduated with high marks from the post-graduate degree programme in Film Scoring and Orchestration at Lisbon's National Academy of Adanced Orchestral Studies (ANSO). David is a friendly, very sensitive and experienced teacher with a natural understanding of pedagogy who promises to make your lessons relaxing and exciting.

Violinist from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and the IMEP of Namur, I give violin lessons at all levels, all ages, from 5 years old for children.

With several years of experience in teaching the violin, my lessons are for everyone, whatever your desires. I adapt my method according to the wish as well as the age of the student, and starting an instrument as an adult should not be a brake.
Graduated in Musicology from La Sorbonne as well as from the ULB, I also offer support courses in Musical Training, History of Music and Analysis.

An instrument lesson usually lasts one hour. If necessary, I can cut the time between Violin and Musical Training / History.

My rates are 29/hour at my home (Schaerbeek), 35 if I travel.

What would you like to achieve with the clarinet?

Maybe you’re starting from zero. Maybe you played years ago and want to come back to the instrument. Maybe you already play and want to improve your sound, technique or musical expression. Or perhaps you have a specific audition or conservatory goal.

Whatever your starting point, I’ll help you turn that goal into a clear and practical path forward.

With me, you can work on:

Building a confident, personal sound
Improving technique, breathing and articulation
Playing with better intonation, rhythm and control
Understanding and expressing the music rather than simply playing the notes
Becoming more confident when performing
Learning how to practise efficiently and independently
Preparing specific repertoire, auditions or conservatory exams

I want lessons to be productive, but also enjoyable. You should leave each lesson knowing what you improved, what you are working towards, and how to practise it.

Whether you want to discover the clarinet, develop your playing seriously, or take your music to the next level, choose a time that suits you and let’s start working towards your goals.

My course is based first on you.
I like developing with you a program adapted to your features, your difficulties as well as your goal.
It is aimed at everyone, children and adults, complete beginners and more experienced musicians looking for advice, a method to keep developing I've been approaching and searching.

Autonomy, creativity, curiosity and listening are the main 4 words for me!

I can teach you drums in many styles (rock, funk, jazz, shuffle, pop, linear, world music, songs on demand) and in its many forms AND of course music theory, which can be integrated into the course if necessary, but also be the subject of a private lesson for students who wish support for their courses in an academy or at the Conservatory. This will help you to read music scores and nail sight reading over time!

My clarinet and music theory lessons are fully tailored to each individual. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner, have been playing for years, or need help with music theory: together, we’ll find the best way for you to progress. In clarinet lessons, we work on both technique (sound, embouchure, fingering, breathing...) and repertoire, always adapted to your tastes and level. We can play anything from classical pieces to more modern music. In music theory lessons, I help you understand theory in a clear and practical way: rhythm reading, intonation, dictations, basic harmony... Everything is explained step by step, without rushing, and with examples connected to real music. My goal is for you to learn while having fun, without pressure, and at your own pace. I am patient, approachable, and I love helping each student feel comfortable and motivated. In addition, I can complement practical lessons with theory, or vice versa, depending on your needs. I would be delighted to help you!
