My name is Lawrence. I'm currently offering limited teaching slots to new online and face-to-face students from my studio in Hackney Wick and home studio in Leyton.

As a tutor, I aim to build a solid technique and theoretical understanding relevant to students’ interests. This allows the student a foundation of tools to further their creative and technical studies and harness their own sound and voice through music. I teach electric bass and music theory from beginner to advanced students within soul, pop, funk, hip-hop, jazz fusion, metal prog, and more.

I have over 8 years of private and instituional teaching experience. I have taught juniors at The British Institute of Modern Music in Brighton and degree-level students at The Waterbrear College of Music in Brighton. I also possess a BA(Hons) in music performance, and I'm certified with an enhanced CRB/DBS, Child Safeguarding & First Aid at Work.

I am an orchestra performer with more than 15 years of experience. I offer instrumental tutoring both on violin and on viola, as well as music theory lessons.

After studying sound engineering at the Universidad Nacional de Lanús, he worked as a live sound engineer and separately on a number of music productions in his home studio. He also trained as a luthier/guitar technician, building and repairing stringed instruments alongside his father, using his surname as a brand.

In 2014 Juan moved to London to develop his skills and connections. His passion and commitment to music led him to working at guitar repair workshops around the capital city, including Camden Town and the well-known Denmark Street. He repaired guitars for artists like the legendary Jarvis Cocker (Pulp), Mercury Prize-winner Michael Kiwanuka, Grammy-winners Mumford & Sons, and King Krule. He later taught Brit Award-winners Bastille how to play the traditional rhythms of his home country.

In 2017, Juan started composing a wide range of music genres for all kinds of audio-visual media productions, including advertising campaigns for: Samsung, Coca-Cola, MasterCard, Nesquik, Avon and Breil

At the same time, he played with a host of different bands as a guitarist, and busked around town. Juan was hired to work as a guitar technician at Abbey Road on live recording sessions. During this period spent in the studio, mastering engineer Wharton spotted Juan’s potential and encouraged him to focus more of his attention on writing, releasing and performing his own material

I am a New Zealand born Korean Actor-Musician who has been teaching violin for many years. I am a passionate Violinist who was trained classically from the age of !ive. I have been a concert master at regional Orchestras in Seoul, South Korea.
