All of my guitar lessons are tailored entirely to the individual student.

Graded and non-graded pathways are both considered, and I work with each pupil to decide which course is right for them.

Juan was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the age of nine he started teaching himself how to play guitar, bass, keyboards and drums; before joining local bands and performing around the country.

After studying sound engineering at the Universidad Nacional de Lanús, he worked as a live sound engineer and separately on a number of music productions in his home studio. He also trained as a luthier/guitar technician, building and repairing stringed instruments alongside his father, using his surname as a brand.

In 2014 Juan moved to London to develop his skills and connections. His passion and commitment to music led him to working at guitar repair workshops around the capital city, including Camden Town and the well-known Denmark Street. He repaired guitars for artists like the legendary Jarvis Cocker (Pulp), Mercury Prize-winner Michael Kiwanuka, Grammy-winners Mumford & Sons, and King Krule. He later taught Brit Award-winners Bastille how to play the traditional rhythms of his home country.

In 2017, Juan started composing a wide range of music genres for all kinds of audio-visual media productions, including advertising campaigns for: Samsung, Coca-Cola, MasterCard, Nesquik, Avon and Breil

At the same time, he played with a host of different bands as a guitarist, and busked around town. Juan was hired to work as a guitar technician at Abbey Road on live recording sessions. During this period spent in the studio, mastering engineer Wharton spotted Juan’s potential and encouraged him to focus more of his attention on writing, releasing and performing his own material

Classical Guitar is the most versatile style to master all others. I have a 20 year experience as a performer, graduated at the most prestigious colleges and played all over Europe the world. As a teacher I gave masterclasses to the highest level, taught in Conservatoires and prepared students to all level to GCSE, A level, 11 plus, Trinity and ABRSM exam with a 100% rate of success. I thought in several schools in London and privately too. The classes will be tailored around the student’s wishes and will comprehend technique, repertoire, reading, listening and building a repertoire to enjoy.

I teach a variety of styles, from jazz and classical to rock and heavy metal.

I am an experienced teacher and guitarist, having performed at festivals and top venues around the UK and Europe including Ronnie Scott’s, the Barbican, and have played on BBC Radio multiple times.

I have been playing guitar since I was 12 years old. I started with classical guitar in Italy and then when I moved to the UK i picked up electric guitar.

In the lessons we will be looking at everything from technique to harmony, theory and obviously a lot of playing.
