Music has always been an integral part of my life. I am a cellist in the 1st year of a Master's degree at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève. I started the piano at the age of 7. I took private lessons for 7 years and a year at the Geneva Conservatory of Music. Hello, My name is Louana, I am 30 years old and am currently a piano teacher for students ranging from 3 to 65 years old. Indeed, I started very young music with first 2 years of rhythm then 5 years of Solfege Jacques-Dalcroze and finally 12 years of piano including 10 at the Conservatory of Music in Geneva. (each year of study being validated by exams & diplomas) Today I continue to play for fun and give some of my time to teach a few students once a week. Class sessions are generally 45 minutes to 1 hour as proposed by the Conservatory. I teach with my old scores which allows a gradual evolution step by step. My goal is as musician to inspire and improve your musical knowledge and give you advice on how to improve your piano and theory skills. My courses can be held in french, english and german.

Drums form the rhythmic foundation of any modern musical style. Polyrhythms, grooves, breaks, fills, all this jargon is part of the tools and techniques developed through the practice of this instrument. The most important thing, however, is to have fun. The purpose of this course is to help students develop their musical sensibility as (classical) pianists. Whether it be online or in person-- though in person is preferred, as it makes teaching more engaging--, classes will consist of a play-through of a specific repertoire followed by advice on technique, interpretation and practice methods. The students can bring their own pieces to play or I can provide some myself, and the goal will be to ensure that this is played faithfully with respect to the score, but most importantly, musically, and in this way to rapidly but securely build repertoire.
