About Me
Passionate about life sciences and the transmission of knowledge, I am a Doctor of Neuroscience and a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva. My academic excellence (Preparatory Classes in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Sciences; Bachelor's Degree in Cell Biology, Genetics, Microbiology and Physiology; Master's Degree in Neuroscience, Doctorate in Neuroscience) combined with my training in clinical psychology allows me to offer unique educational support tailored to each student.
If I am lucky enough today to be a Doctor of Neuroscience and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Geneva, I owe it in large part to the extraordinary professors who have marked my career. I still remember the biology teacher in high school who transformed each class into a scientific adventure, the preparatory class professor who made biochemistry as captivating as a detective novel, or my thesis supervisor who passed on to me his contagious passion for the mysteries of the brain.
These exceptional teachers all had one thing in common: they didn't just impart knowledge, they knew how to ignite that spark of curiosity that transforms learning into pleasure. Thanks to them, I discovered that science, when taught well, becomes absolutely fascinating! Cellular mechanisms become thrilling stories, equations come to life, and suddenly, you want to know more, to explore, to understand.
Today, it's my turn to play this role. My ambition? To be for my students that teacher who makes a difference, the one who transforms biology into a passion, who inspires confidence, who shows that yes, it is possible to succeed and above all, that it's fun! Because I am convinced: when teaching is done well, learning becomes a game, difficulties become stimulating challenges, and successes become shared victories.
Every student who discovers the joy of learning, who overcomes their inhibitions, or who suddenly realizes that "actually, it's not that complicated!" reminds me why I love teaching. It's this transmission of passion, this moment when everything becomes clear in a student's eyes, that motivates me every day. Being the catalyst for these turning points is my way of giving back what I've received and contributing, in my own way, to giving birth to new scientific vocations.
