My name is Maria and I am a professional Violinist. My second instrument is Piano. I have done my music education in Bulgaria and after that I went to Belgium to complete my Master 's degree. Teaching since 2008 I have a good experience working with children and adults . I am familiar with ABRSM Grade system. My teaching process is based on the classical methodical rules, but I am teaching other musical styles as well, such as folk, basic jazz or improvisation (for advanced students). I believe that music is a wonderful language, we just need the right tools and knowledge to be able to read it, my role is to provide them so you can learn, enjoy and improve your skills. I have 9 years experience in teaching international students violin and theory to beginners, amateurs and advanced students. Professional academic lessons in an amusing way. We will work on music theory and reading, and how to produce a good sound out of the violin with the right posture. We are also going to work on sound production and how to have a distinct character in playing aside from developing the technical ability.

Mia is a Montenegrin violinist. She has traveled the world, starting with studies at the University of Music in Montenegro, to China, at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. She was a member of the National Symphony Orchestra of Montenegro, but her desire for discovery took her to other spheres. In the meantime, during her studies in Montenegro, she was invited to participate several times in the Young Euro Classic Orchestra, playing at the Berlin Konzerthaus, with renowned musicians like: Liana Issakadze, Heinrich Schiff, Anreas Reiner. In 2014, she met her teacher Anton Martynov who gave her many opportunities to develop as a violinist, in Paris in France and recently in Belgium. In 2023 she obtained another Master Didactique in Royal Conservatory in Mons, Belgium.

I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. I can teach in English or French and of course in my mother tongue Albanian.

I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory class for 6 years, because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. If you would like, I would be more than happy to share some knowledge of music theory along with the violin lessons. Lessons are private and not in groups.
